It's not under siege, shield is down, the only damage it gets is the standart damage.
However it eats Robotics, while not touching our storage of Basic alloy.
3165 Robotics // 9870 Basic Alloy
3125 Robotics // 9870 Basic Alloy
3117 Robotics // 9870 Basic Alloy
3091 Robotics // 9870 Basic Alloy
If i got it right, it should consume Basic Alloy over Robotics right?
(It's an issue for us, because we can aquire Basic Alloy on ourselfes, but need allies to obtain Robotics)
However, the Robotics were placed on the base before we put Basic Alloy there, could that be the reason why it didn't change the commodity ?
We're noticing the same thing over on Falster - Robotics appear to be preferred over Basic Alloy. For us it's not a problem as there's a Robotics production plant one lane over, but most folks would probably prefer Basic Alloy.

Yep, they are eaten in the order Basic Alloys Robotics Hull Panels for several hours already as opposed to Robotics Hull Panels Basic Alloys yesterday (which appeared to be corresponding to the order in the list of base commodities).
As I see that I am not alone for whom Robotics are actually preferable than Basic Alloys (in my case, while Robotics is expensive it's readily available while Basic Alloys can be obtained several systems away only), I'll voice a question: is it possible to make the order in which repair commodities are consumed adjustable? Or would it be too much control over the process for base owners?
The amount of alloys chewed daily is quite low though... even if it's a transportload - you only need one usually. If you're at an unlawful base, just use a freelancer BWT or a Junker alt or something. Not like carrying a low value commodity like basic alloy is going to draw much attention...

As long as I understand, the consumption rate is about 12 units per 100 seconds which amounts to 3 BWTs every day. The consumption order is not a problem per se for the base running just makes keeping all 3 repair commodities on the base harder. And as a matter of fact, transporting does bring attention.

Yup. Basic Alloy is used as a link cargo for a few internal routes in the various Houses. Seeing anyone moving it outside those specific routes sets off massive alarm bells for any local onlookers. Seeing someone drop out a lane with Basic Alloy means they're off to supply a base. That's how the Corsair one in Cambridge got found. Cloaked BPA Liner followed someone because they were hauling BA outside a normal route... and had been all day.
