Stone Bros Ltd/GmbH is proudly announcing to our current or possible future customers and business partners that our company purchased The Barge last month. This is a new stage of our company, because now our fleet consist all types of carriers for hauling large amounts of cargo - medium class BWT transport, Colossus supertransport and The Barge.

Barge was purchased from one Bretonian company so it´s used, but comes from the latest 4.86 series. It will need some time to prepare it to flight, because it don´t have all permissions and safety certificates which are required to enter some house spaces. But our employees are working on this. Also our technicians are finishing full inspection of The Barge now and then we will decide about scale of potential repairs or modifications and make contract for this with companies from shipmaking industry.

Our company has with Barge big plans for near future. We are planning to rebuild it from low mobile station/factory type to a ULCC - Ultra Large Commodity Carrier (in short ultratransport) type of ship which will allow to use it to haul cargo in ultra large amounts or to move big loads like parts of space stations or ships. We are also planning to offer it´s services in same ways as our other ships - to mining companies, big corporations from all houses, or to independent groups which want to make money, have fighters to protect load and money for cargo, but doesn´t own transports.

== Aland Hangar Ablaze - Situation Contained - Investigation Initiated ==

These pictures reached the CNS minutes ago and Omega 3 eyewitness reports confirm that Aland Shipyard's Hangar Deck B and C are ablaze. The remaining docking modules have been shut in order not to hinder emergency response activities. According to the Independent Miners' Guild spokeswoman Veronica Ryan, no personell was killed or injured severely, some personell is being treated for minor injuries.

"Advanced detection systems and immediate evacuation and sealing off measures limited the damage. Fire fighters are making good progress in sections B and C and we hope to restore Aland to full operational efficiency fast. Hangars A and D will be opened immediately after the fire has been extinguished and there is no danger any more."

The source of the fire has not yet been determined, the statement says. The IMG has already announced an in detail investigation into the incident.

Kyushu: It's sakura season once again

"This is Chikuma Ishida reporting for the Colony News Service from Planet Kyushu. As you can see from the video feed above, it's that time of season again on Planet Kyushu. The cherry blossoms that Kyushu is so famous for are in full bloom once again, creating this spectacular sight.

The cherry blossom blooming season comes once a year in Kyushu at around this time of year. The cherry blossoms are a bit late this year, but the locals remain unfazed as they carry out the annual Sakura (Cherry Blossom) Festival. Look out for festival stalls and traditional Kusarian clothes amongst the falling cherry blossoms at Kyushu Metropolitan Park and the rural farming districts that dot Kyushu's landscape.

Tourism for the entire month is set to increase by 50% as tourists from the all the houses come to catch this wonderful sight and couples come to enjoy the cherry blossoms with their loved ones. It is a well known fact that many people, both Kusarian and foreigners like to host weddings under the cherry blossom trees. And that trend hasn't gone down despite the earlier war with Bretonia and the appearance of Gallia.

So come down to Kyushu, be it to enjoy the falling cherry blossoms, or to enjoy the Sakura Festival and don't forget to bring your family, friends and loved ones.

New Research Results Released
New Development in the fuel that moves us forward

This is Satoru Shibata reporting from Planet Miura outside the Gas Miner Guild's Research Complex. A new breaking development was made by the men and women of the Guild.

The GMG Research team has reportedly been working on the differences between H-Fuel, as it's commonly known, and the Gallic Oil-based fuel Promethene. Study shows that, once broken down, the molecular construction of the compounds are widely different.

With the explanation of the process being extremely long, we shall report the results of the findings.

On paper and via real useage tests, it is found that H-Fuel is by far the best source of fuel in all known space. While Promethene has a better input take, H-Fuel dominates in all other categories. The Gas Miners Guide is proud of the development and is expecting an increase in sales soon enough.

This research was done on a newly constructed research vessel, owned by the Guild. It's details have been kept quiet about what type of equipment is on-board this vessel, but from what we have gathered it is state of the art, or perhaps next generation.

Pirate Pilots Plunder Prison

Rogue raiders mounted an attack on the Liberty Police Prison Ship McCreary on its way through Texas yesterday morning, making off with as many as two hundreds inmates. The pirates overpowered the ship's escorts, and were able to escape before relief forces arrived. No trace of the Prison Ship has been yet been recovered, and it is believed the Rogues destroyed the liner. Captain Walter Rutherford was at the bridge of the McCreary when the attack happened, and spoke to the media this evening.

Oh, it was a close call alright.

The lead pirate, he was flying a monster of a ship. Biggest, ugliest thing you ever saw. He pointed his guns right at us, and demanded that I open the cells. I had no intention of complying with his demands; of course, it takes much more than a pirate to make you shake when you've been in the business as long as I have. I daresay we would have bought the blighter down if we'd had some support.

We held the pirates off for as long as we could, but when they started blasting hull plates off, I had to yield. I couldn't risk the lives of the crew.

McCreary was scheduled to move the prisoners to Planet Pittsburgh to assist in mining operations on the planet following recent labor shortages. The apparent ease with which pirates defeated the Liner's escorts has prompted some to question the effectiveness of Liberty Police Inc, and their ability to maintain prison facilities. In some sectors, there have been calls for closer scrutiny of LPI operations in Texas.

The LPI has refused to comment.

Food scare over radioactive contamination

Recent radiation poisoning cases on New Berlin has triggered an investigation by the Federal Medicine Bureau into the causes for such cases.

In recent weeks, there have been numerous cases of radiation poisoning on Planet New Berlin. So far, all cases have been minor and patients have made a full recovery after medical treatment. The cases however, have sparked an investigation into the causes for such an outbreak. Hans Schauss of the Federal Medicine Bureau reports:

"So far, there have been numerous cases of radiation poisoning in households scattered across the Rhein district of Planet New Berlin. In comparing cases we have discovered a distinct link between the cases and the consumption of "Van Hoff's Insta-schnitzel" from a local hyper-market. Apparently, all of the patients interviewed have bought and subsequently consumed "Van Hoff's Insta-schnitzel" bought from Schaulzer Square hypermart."

Investigations have found that a certain contracted supplier of the Van Hoff Foods Inc. has taken budget cuts in the transportation of goods. Insufficient radiation shielding has resulted in solar radiation permeating the food in transit.

Van Hoff Inc. has taken the action of recalling all goods supplied by the independent contractor and has promised to take legal action against the contracted supplier. Klaus Van Hoff of Van Hoff Foods Inc. comments:

"We at Van Hoff Inc. sincerely apologize to all affected by the recent incident. We are formally reimbursing all affected individuals fairly and are footing full medication costs.."

A statement sent out by Van Hoff Foods Inc. asks all consumers to return any "Van Hoff's Insta-schitzel" products if bought within a time frame of two weeks to local customer service centres for a full refund.

The independent contractor has refused to provide comments on the issue.

CNS -- Graves Station -- 819: After almost two weeks of soaring prices on gold reserves, consumer confidence has been restored enough to settle the markets. Gold prices have consequently returned to their pre-boom levels. One BMM miners was quoted as saying, "oh well. The scare was nice while it lasted." Investigations as to the root causes of the gold rush are now ongoing.

Industry experts say that the Sirian market is currently extremely vulnerable to these sorts of market panics due to tampering with the neural net by malicious parties. The stock agencies of various warring houses refusing to cooperate in order to install security measures makes combating this extremely difficult. Due to this, it is believed that further mineral imbalances are nothing but inevitable.

In this urgent news bulletin the results of the election have been released, we cross live to reporter Akira Itsuda at the National Diet building for this breaking story.

Earlier tonight the Kusari Electoral committee released the official ballot results for the general election.
It seems that the Democratic Party of Kusari has lost its majority control of the government and the Kusari Reformation party has lead the results becoming the largest party in the parliament.
Of course they will be forming a minority government so it will be interesting to see how they will handle leading Kusari in the face of the undoubtedly stiff opposition that the other parties will present.
The KRP controls the largest share of votes at 33% while the DPK has dropped to 22%.
The Sunrise party has also made some gains at the expense of the DPK, also gaining 22% of the votes.

In a surprise move, minor parties also fared well in this election with the White Lotus Party and the Inari Shrine Political Action committee each gaining 7% of the primary votes.
While the White Lotus Party is expected to offer it’s support to the Sunrise Party, experts say the ISPAC is likely to support the KRP as they may share some similar outlooks and goals.


Rounding out the results it appears that the Superior Ame Party, People’s Party of Kusari and the Kusari Liberal Party each made gains with 5,3 and 2% of the votes respectively.

Manabu-san has been very popular in his role as Governor of Kyushu and many are questioning whether he can continue that popularity in his new position as Prime Minister of Kusari.
