I'm docking at battleship missouri to buy a new osiris battleship because mines missing a turret and after i buy it and hit undock it sais that the server crasehed or somehting wrong. I forget who, but someone told me it kept saying i was cheating and kicked me as soon as i undocked but doesnt boot if i undock at different base/ship, only after i buy the new osiris.

I'm on a brand new install of my operating system, and Freelancer and FLMM, and still have no info cards for the new commodities or new mod weapons. Are there any additional files I need to replace to remedy this?
Everything else is working just fine. And let me say, Freelancer works much better on an AMD Athalon XP 2800 with 256MB of ram and a 128MB graphics card than it did on the Pent III 500 with 128MB and 32MB graphics card. hehe

Check the date when Discovery.dll file in Freelancer/EXE folder was created. If there are no infocards, most probably the uninstall was not complete. Maybe you did not remove mods from FLMM mod folder.

The problem with that is that there was no previous version installed. Its a brand new hard disk. Brand new install of the OS and Freelancer, and FLMM.
Do you have infocards for new ships? If no, then your freelancer.ini file is corrupt and/or was not modified while mod installation. Everyone else has those infocards. I cannot think of any reason why it might happen to you.

No, I dont. What would be the best way of getting a fresh copy of that file on here? Ive tried removing the mod and reinstalling it from a fresh download.
Thats got to be the problem. The whole system is fresh.
Maybe delete the freelancer.ini file and reload the mod? Or is that file just updated?

go into freelancer mod manager and delete the discovery mod, then 'restore backups' from the drop down menu, it is vital that you do this or the old mod files will still be in the game folders.
after you have done this, download a fresh copy of the 4.76 mod from this website using Igiss' link.
double click it and it should install ok. if not, try downloading it on another PC?
i had the same problem not long ago because my network card wasn't working properly lol but using another machine in the house had it working in no time.
