X_X And the Corsairs are actually doing good IRPly, They're attacking Omega-49 with intent on pushing on to Dublin, holding their own in Omega-5 and are in prime position to hit Cambridge while Bretonia is weakened, The Corsairs are also more alive then you think. XD Just ask the SCRA/RHA whenever we pay a visit to Gamma.
True, for the rest they hide behind the asteroids, when we come in they stop playing hiding and appear in LARGE numbers...
Great feedback guys i hope this stimulates some more activity in the Omegas and Ormicrons! I'd just like to see it like it used to be or at least close to it *smiles*
Now that I'm spending more time down there i am seeing more activity than i first noticed. Sorry if i offended anyone by saying Corsairs were dead just had to wake ya'll up *laughs*
The layout can be pointed to as one of the major culprits. Removing profitable Cap missions might be another one. And the most relevant one would be that hadcore sair RP'ers have found greener fields, like Benitez altogether :'(
RP'ing as a Sair needs devotion and love towards the NPC faction, I mean, the OORP love you would have for the name and fame of it, in such a way that you would never take it ever so lightly. This is one of the reasons for the disappearance of new Sair and OC unofficial factions quickly, without seeing the daylight.
If something can be done to improve the fun part of these factions (giving minimum attention to the RP part), that suits the modern Disco population, then there might be some activity bloom. Well, that is my thought though.

well Vredes, i have to tell you that 2-3 months ago RHA was in fact if not dead, close to. It took real effort to begin to fix and grow again. You have reason regarding corsairs, population is growing at a low but somehow stable pace. As well as RHA began to retake activity appeared again hessian indies. Corsairs are a different matter but at the end happens the same, if there's a (moreso) consolidated faction generatin activity, even if they're only lurking around, can animate others to put more effort with their (insert ID here) characters.
personally i was thinking to create a sair faction... but it takes more time that i can afford. especially being in 4 factions....
Might be, because most of know Sair players now has much more interesting real life, rather than Disco freelancer. You know, we all growing and aging, study-work, bicycle-car, friends-family.
