Now, on a serious note, pre-patch I ran an rp mining/smuggling route. Premium scrap hauling was a legitimate cover for illegal activities. Since I mined and hauled scrap, I was vulnerable enough to interception by both house and pirate entities. I had a few encounters on different legs of the route. I've never jump traded or used cloak, so I was quite visible from point A to point B.
As far as I know, the Premium Scrap drop rate was pretty much in line with the higher sell prices: higher drop rates, lower sell prices. Personally, I think the price is more reasonable (ie. Tripoli) now. It's the droprate that needs some love.
