Easiest explanation - what you see in game is not even remotely representative of how things actually work. Take Freeport 1. You wouldn't get Titans blaring Corsair IFFs docking. What you would get is Corsairs flying unmarked freighters and transports to pick up supplies and barter.
Criminals do not base off Freeports in border systems. They are not launching points for other operations. If criminals were overtly docking on the more publically visible Zoner stations, houses would take more action than they currently do. As it happens neither the pirates or Zoners are complete and utter morons so they understand the advantages of discretion.
Best example: the early Unioner movement attempted to operate out of / base from Freeport 6 as a temporary HQ. The Zoners rapidly evicted them for abusing their hospitality and endangering their delicate position with Rhienland. This forced the Unioners to construct Pacifica and they were invited back to the Freeport to discretely buy supplies after that point.
Now please, please stop reposting the same question over and over and ignoring responses.

That would be Freeport 2 in the Bering system. Freeport 6 has nothing to do with either Liberty nor Rheinland.

A very good point that can be linked to so many situations when one has to take what is happening on the server with a pinch of s-alt. (edit: Wow, I can't even use the word in a collocation??!! QQ)
I imagine Zoner Freeports likely a little wilder than you do (a Sair Titan could sneak in in my version; A cap could not), because my idea of Borderworlds is likely a little different, but the common idea is a good pointer for everything where Disco-on-the-server" and "Disco-as-it-should-be" clashes.
Okay, so can we now ban all criminals from docking on freeports unless they make sure to maintain discrecy by using civilian technology to approach freeports?

BERING -- Liberty has long accused Zoners of what it called "aiding and abetting felonious criminal elements." In the new law signed yesterday by the President, any Zoners who sell goods or services to any criminal group have broken Liberty law and therefore are criminals themselves. Though Liberty said it would not pursue anyone in the Border Worlds for this new crime, criminals will be arrested if they enter Liberty space. A Zoner spokesman replied, "It's that type of foolishness that drove us away from that police state called Liberty."
Incidentally, some Houses do already take a dim view of Zoner activities, and will actively arrest them if they enter House space. The Zoners respond by staying outside of House space altogether. The article also somewhat supports the current ruleset that differentiates law enforcement within border worlds.
As far as i know zoners have a policy like this with pirates:
Dock, make your bisness (trade, resupply or something else) and go away. I like that. And btw. bomber and fighter, even gunboat is ok launching from zoner bases (but not to make unlawfull acts). Cruisers and higher are not welcomed to dock on zoner bases at all. Those are COF laws.
Pirates can't use zoner bases to make unlawfull acts. That will make pirate hostile to zoners and we will have full power to shoot him down. Also if cruiser and higher come close to our bases we can ask him to leave and fire at will if he refuze.
Who made this thread should read COF laws before posting something like that and making 14 pages of some posts here.
Edit: Don't know for shure, but as far as i was informed from BAF|, bretnian army ships (even battleships) can fly inside of Freeport 1 NFZ and even dock there. I saw some bretonian battleships who fired some mortars and hit Freeport 1... They died from my hand XD.

No? Why should anybody do that?
