Mines are glitchy, you can be seeing one explode and not take any damage, and then you could be taking damage when none is exploding.
It's a problem with multiplayer synchronizing.
Oh, a suggestion - Can we have a /prospect command?
While inside a field, using this command could show Ore type (Ice, Gold, etc) and Density (0-100%)
Just changing basic operators for what reason now huh?
Too many people with admin rights getting bored?
Do you guys have any idea how irritating it is to have a few hours a months to play this game only to find you've changed the basic models every time we come back?
I spend 2 hours reading forums before I can even think about playing again.....sigh!
Ok so I've been back on the server for the first time for a few weeks and my observations of the recent changes are:
1. Dublin is now dead.
2. Mining in Dublin has been made almost pointless
3. Mining mods are ok
4. Mining mods are pointless with all other changes in place...lol.
IMHO - There need to be hot spots in Sirius...there is no point balancing all the trade routes so they are all equal or you won't get points of high profit for both traders and pirates. The only way you get good game play is if trader / miners have something to make good money on and therefore pirates can pirate them on that well known high profit route.
If we could have 1000 players on the server it may be different but we can't.
There is a similar analogy with games like COD etc as map designers who make good maps will deliberately create choke points where players are forced to meet and interact. Same in Freelancer.
