I dont get this point here? could some1 explain?
I think this is a typo and he means to say "However, a larger ship can hit you and you will still take damage".
IE: Starflea ramming BigBadBattleship = Starflea goes "splat" and leaves a stain on the hull. BigBadBattleship cruising into Starflea: Starflea goes "splat" and leaves a stain on the cockpit viewport.
Battleships will need viewport wipers now!
[Edit] And why would he need to get ingame to have fun? He's got a sanctionlancer:D

Can we just get rid of snub on snub collision damage entirely? It just happens so often, both from hitting the guy you're dueling to bumping into your wing mates as you're both maneuvering that it's silly. In furballs, it's unavoidable. If you're bombing a capital ship? Yeah, it is avoidable, so it should be kept.
I understand the point about ramming capitals. It's there to get rid of a rule like cruise drain did. I get that. But this is unnecessary for fighter combat as there is no rule and it just makes it a lot less enjoyable if we not only have to dodge weapons fire but also take extreme care not to hit any other fighter for fear of taking damage.
' Wrote:Collision damage due to this algorithm shouldn't happen if:
- you are hit by an NPC
- you are in a tradelane
- you are in formation and hit a formed ship.
WONDERFULL!
