Everyone was running around to get the area ready for the arrival of Border Worlds Exports representative, Thomas Williams. Inspekteur Weiss ordered everyone to make sure nothing is missing, since she was sure that the meeting will probably take longer then usual. After another look around the room, she noted that everything is in place and they are ready to begin. All that was missing is Mr. Williams.
Inspekteur Weiss called two Polizei officers to her and ordered them to take a shuttle and escort Mr. Williams to the Plaza.

- I want you two to be careful with your actions and your manners, we've took just enough time from this man already, so I expect professional work! Entlassen!
- Ja wohl, Frau Inspekteur!
The two officers left and Frau Weiss walked back to her office until the Bretonian representative arrives. Now was a perfect time to wear her new uniform that just arrived from the manufacturer. She also had time ti fix her appearance and to place all ranking and award insignias on their place. She wanted to give a good first impression to have a small chance of ending this meeting in peace.
Thomas Williams had waited in The Capitol for a while. New Berlin was an interesting sight, he noticed many changes since the last time he visited. This did not stop his frustration however, He doubted that the Bretonian crown would ever treat an envoy such as he was treated now. "Perhaps I can finally get the ball rolling" he said to himself.
The Shuttle that he was assigned to ride on finally landed on its destination: Nibelung Polizei Plaza
Thomas Willaims was Greeted by Inspector Weiss, in a professional manner, like how a real envoy should be treated. He was impressed. He was escorted to the 5th floor in Conference room #3
"I trust you have read my initial transmission about our Complaints about the embargo of Military Veihicles? To recap, Border Worlds Exports and The Merchant Navy, [Convoy] find the embargo very inconvenient. I'm here to sway your government to reconsider it. Who will I be negotiating with today?"
The Duke of Norfolk was shown to the meeting hall by his escort. Keeping things simple, the Lord-Duke and Admiral of the BAF was there to support the government representative. He was also there to assess the threat posed by the precarious situation the Bretonian/Rhienlandic relations had slid to.
He took his seat alongside Williams, keeping his face impassive and saying nothing. He was there for support, and support he would give. But he was also there to demonstrate that Bretonia, war torn and battle honed, wasn't about to be intimidated by another house.
His personal motto remained clear, 'As long as there was a flag still flying, a pile of rocks was still a castle!'
Pouring himself a glass of water, he glanced at Williams and listened to the man's opening statement.
Inspekteur Weiss welcomed both Thomas Williams and Sir Fraiser, Duke of Norfolk upon arriving to the Conference room. After they all took places, Williams decided to open the conversation with jumping right on topic. At this time, the Duke of Norfolk stayed quiet and simply observed the meeting.
- First of all, please let me welcome you personally in Nibelung Plaza. Yes Mr. Williams, I've received your transmission and have forwarded your request to the Rheinland Military High Command, ever since they were the ones who requested the before mentioned embargo. However, due to recent resignation of Admiral Voelkel, I am not sure if any Rheinwehr representatives will be attending to our meeting any time soon. Never the less, we can still discuss this problem and might come up with a solution.
[color=#000000]Weiss stood up and walked to a pack of documents. She took the first 3 folders and went back to the table.
- As I've studied the history of this embargo, I've noticed that the reason behind it was the matter of close connections between Bretonia and Liberty. Also, from a source unidentified by security reasons, Rheinwehr had proof of Liberty gaining Rheinland built military equipment that was intended to head for the Bretonian front lines. As far as I understand, this was the main reason and I personally agree with the actions previously taken by Admiral Voelkel. If we wish to discuss about ending this temporary regulation, we should first talk about how Bretonia would ensure that an event like so would never happen again, since both of you know, we are still in war with Liberty.
Helga was not sure if she isn't pushing the limits, but this was her temper. She obviously understood what is to come next, and was already preparing for the worst, but without showing the slightest sign of that, he sat back to her chair.
At this time, a man is noticed standing at the door, apparently listening in on the conversation that has taken place so far. He ducks into the room, Nodding to the Inspekteur to finish talking as he finds his way to a seat.
Sehr geehrter Herr Duke of Norfolk, Herr Willaims.
Rheinland is happy to receive you here on Neu Berlin. I do hope you are finding your accommodations adequate with your stay here. May I go as far to recommend Neu Berlin skiing as an outdoor activity to help yourselves enjoy your stay?
[font=Lucida Console]The diplomat smiles lightly as he takes his seat.
Kanzler Rheinhardt nominated my humble self to represent him and Rheinlands interests. As such I will be attending this meeting as a representative of the Rheinland government alongside the Inspekteur.
Norfolk inclined his head, "I am honoured, sir, to make your acquaintence. And I hope that we can accomplish here, the ultimate goal of reestablishing the special relationship that Rhienland and Bretonia have always shared." He kept one leg crossed over his knee, "Her Majesty sends her deepest well wishes to your Kanzler, and her regrets that she hasn't seen him in so long. Her plans are to send one of the Royal Family in the coming weeks on a tour of Rhienland, to demonstrate to all of Sirius the importance of Rheinland to the Kingdom."
"Hello, Mr....? In anycase-- Yes I would appreciate your accommodations, but I have been waiting in New Berlin for too long, I must work for a living myself. But I will take your offer next time I come visit.
As you know, Rheinland relies on Bretonian raw materials and goods, such as super alloys, Beryllium, hull panels and the such. About half a year ago, your country has decided to refrain selling military vehicles to Bretonia, and instead it has decided to let them be supplied to Kusari, via various entities. We have even heard reports that the Kusari have been shipping your Military Vehicles (for the rest of this conversation, I will address them as MVs)
Bretonian shippers, notably Bowex) and the merchant navy [Convoy] used to travel to Rheinland frequently, supplying Munich with Gold, Ore, Super alloy and the like, in exchange for Rheinland MVs. The way to Munich is a difficult, long one riddled with pirates. It is two systems away from New Berlin. We Used to buy your MVs frequently since we needed them, and they allowed us to have a fluid trade route. But with the inability to Import MVs, that route has been cut off. As I'm sure you are aware, your companies must spend additional funds moving the materials we export, to Munich. This cost doesn't have to be necessary.
As I have said multible times, I am here to Petition the Rheinland government to Once again open the Export of Military Vehicles to Bretonia.
I'm sure you don't know this, but I will inform you of the changes that have happened since this embargo.
a) Due to the looming threat of Kusari's invasion, Bretonia Still requires more MVs. Since we no longer receive Rhienland ones, We have routes more of our routes to Liberty, Buying theirs. Before, their products were only funded by Liberty, but now that we are buying, The company which makes it is constantly making updates to thier product, catching up to the performance of your own. Do you wish for this to continue?
b) Many Bretonians are unhappy about Rhienland's descision for this embargo, many of our own traders have decided to divest from Rhienland altogether. In fact many of our own employees have decided to form alternate routes, exporting the same product for similar equipment.
I have heard that Rheinland Is afraid that Bowex) or [Convoy] Shippers will send Rhienland MVs to Liberty. I find this to be a ludicrous fear, as we haven't been caught doing this. Additionally a Kusarian is just as likely as us to break your trust and supply your MVs to liberty. I this you should be aware that Bretonia has the luxury of sending Liberty some of your war machines we have received from you, for research purposes. We have not done this in order not to break your trust. What have we done to break this trust? But if rhienland wishes to give Kusari the weapons to indiscriminately murder our women and children. We will not sit down and do nothing about it.
Do you not remember what the Kusari have done to the three Junker transport redirecting thier own refugees out of the sigmas? Don't you remember how the Kusari heartlessly slaughtered them all? Do you really think they will not do the same to us Bretonians?....Does Rhienland want to be known in history, for exclusively fueling the effort, of Kusari's genocide of Bretonians? Assuming they succeed in the war. The Rhineland Government historically has had a high value for life. Am I to hear that this is no longer true?
Simply closing the embargo of your MVs towards us will no give historians room paint this horrible picture of your great nation...."
"By the way I just can't continue without knowing your name."
