The admin team has decided that it is unacceptable for ships to use the naming convention of their enemies. For example, a Rheinland ships would not be allowed to use the name "LNS.Ohio" or a KNF ships would not be allowed to use the name "HMS.London."
This question was brought up by several members and the admin team felt a public clarification was in order.
Does this extend to roles as well? Say, an IMG naming himself "Cardihuffer" to throw off the pirates, or a Corsair naming himself "Innocent.Miner" or the likes?

I think this notice only applies to Military capitals and the like.
Secondary fleets et all.
It would be hard to track all of those cases (innocent miner, etc) and some might have some roleplay behind it.
While a Turtle named LNS-Ohio hasn't.

No it doesnt apply to the names themselves, but instead to the tags, for example LNS, RNC, IKN, or HMS.
Understood.
I myself have used this trick for quite a while with breaks in between.
But if it is now against the rules, you won't catch me doing it again.
I don't know if they still do this or are even active still, but what abut the Aoi Iseijin guys? Didn't they have their names as KNF-something.somethng or IKN-KNF-blabla?
