I am currently working on two political maps of sirius (799AS/816AS) and im not so sure about the belongings of the factions i wanted to map.
those are the groups i want to display:
So here comes the list. please suggest adds or removements of the systems i assume to be part of a faction.
to own a system, factions should have bases or BS-parols (in fact a dominant presence) there.
WZ = WarZone
? = not sure about that one.
816 = became part of the territory anytime between the nomad war and today (816) you may name a certain date for any system if you wish. guardsystems should be 816 if only one-based. as you will see, i didnt find em all out jet.

"War. War never changes. Since the dawn of human kind, when our ancestors first discovered the killing power of rock and bone, blood has been spilled in the name of everything, from God to justice to simple, psychotic rage."
Though their territory is quite less. They have a base in 23, but 23 is Outcast/Kusari territory. It even says in rumors on Java station.
I'd say Tau-37 is controlled by IMG, so is Tau-44. That's about it.
Magellan isn't, it's shared between IMG and Hackers.
Maybe even omega-7, though not so sure.
They are active in the other mentioned systems, but they don't own them.

well, a faction should be in total control of a system or at least dominate it by military presence. having a chain store or embassy in a system shouldn automaticly mean that its yours.
Tau23 for example is far away from belonging to any territory because there are too many factions on the same level arroung: IMG, BMM, OCs and soon KNF.
Im allso not sure about omega7. dauman, kruger are having one base each. but i dont know who hat the most powerfull patrols. =/

I'm surprised Bretonia didn't blow it up, easy to reach and oldest IMG base. Controls exactly NOTHING and is pretty much on Bretonia's mercy.
South Shields - Newcastle
Bit the same as above, but this one may defend itself. Bigger base, more patrols. However, the Outcast base Cape Wrath is close by. Newcastle is Largely controled by Bretonia, but most larger pirate organizations have their bases in the syetem, so where a trade lane doesn't go through, Bretonian authority ends.
Freeport 4, Magellan
It's a freeport, not meant to control anything. It's a weird situation there though. Despite the Outcasts' hatred towards IMG (dunno why), Rogues and Hackers frequent the base and NEVER are shot by the base's defences. (Unless the NPC is dumb enough to demand cargo). How the Outcasts resond to that? I have no idea, but apparently, not only on cardamine a man can live on. The system is wholely independent. Patrols of the respective houses are seen at their jumpgates and not an inch further. Rogues, Hackers and Outcasts ram the system freely.
the Hood - Dublin
The place got complicated when the Mollys joined forces with the Outcasts. Now they are seemingly the IMG's enemy while the Corsairs took their place as the Hood's best clients. Nevertheless, Mollys are often frequenting the bar (despite being blown to bits by Hood's guns after undocking). the Hood is a typical stationar battleship. you DON'T want it to turn red. So it pretty much controls the north-central quarter of the system. Bretonia controls the south-east and Molly the south-west. Corsairs ram around and kill everything they see and doesn't look like an IMG ship.
Freistadt - omega 7
Would be the same story as with the Mollys, but apparently not. the Hessians and Corsairs somehow stand eachother's and IMG's company when docking on this Rheinland borderworld freeport. It's peaceful, but for some time now, daumann and Kruger were seen attempting to take the system's minerals over. Rheinland's political stance towards IMG is also the warmest - they back IMG's peace solution for tau-31. A buffer zone between Kusari and Bretonia. Wether it's pargmatic (Because IMG would probably gladly supply Rheinalnd with minerals) or sentimental (A lot of IMG are former Daumann/Kruger employees) doesn't count for now. The place is peaceful in general.
Tau-31
The place is a mess. Kusari and Bretonia beat the crapp outta eachother over a chunk of ice and it's IMG getting beaten worst! Brets threaten to blow up IMG operations in bretonia if IMG doesn't stop supplying KNF from Holman. On the other hand, Kusari battleships place a battleship's gun salvo on the station and say "oops, hehe" afterwards. big meh! It's obvious, that they are intending to quietly push IMG out of the system and make the conquest easier for Samura or Kishiro. Bretonia wants the same for BMM. Adn the Outcasts there? As long as the houses keep slapping eachother, they can smuggle easily.
Java - tau 23
So far so good. NPCs are repelling every Outcast raiding party and it appears that bth IMG and maskers know their enemy's bases' locations. The situation is worst for the BMM gate construction site. it's cut off from Bretonia, no supplies coming in and the few security guards cannot possibly stand Outcast attacks too long. The base will be overrun most likely.
Falkland - Tau 37
The place is hidden, so the maskers don't step on it too hard. the few ships that see it, never come back. Does anyone control the system? NPC-wise it's Outcasts. player-wise, if we see anyone red in there, he's as good as dead. Why do Outcasts mind IMG's existence I'll never know.
The Nomads don't really have a political map, since they aren't involved in political life of Sirius as humans are. Their influence however was great considering they had three major houses under control, pitting each one against the other and weakening their defenses, but since the end of the nomad war the influence has significantly diminished. Sure, there are infested agents around, weird things happen at times. Normally they inhabit home systems, but who knows. They have their own schemes, plans, certainly they aren't going to respect political borders of human factions, instead they are using those borders for advantage, as they did before and making houses wage wars.

Is that your excuse for being in New York then? And this after your promise several times that the Keepers would strictly observe ZOI's...?
Dresden lanes are completely dominated by Rheinland, but Giftnebel cloud is completely dominated by Hessians.
Omega 5 is biggest slash point for Corsairs and Hessians forces.
Omega 7 is not a battle front, but skirmished between Corsairs and Hessians are frequent. Rheinland maintain three bases in the system, yet the security of system is weak. IMG controls a bse by the name of Freistadt, but it is more of a drop point for Hessians and IMG have no real influence outside the base. However Hessians and Corsairs, do not maintain any bases in the system
Omega 11 is dominated by Hessians. Fights with Corsairs happen by the jump holes. Hessians won at one side, Corsairs at another. Rheinland also maintain one base in the system, but Hessians dominate mainly.
Omega 47. No idea. Probably fights between Corsairs and Hessians. Been there quite a few times, but not intrested playing there.
