Subject: Trade Opportunity - Industrial Hardware
Good day,
I wish to discuss a potentially lucrative deal.
I wish to import 90,000 Industrial Hardware at a price of 2,400 SC per unit, giving a 2,200 SC profit.
On top of this I will be offering a 5,000,000 SC bonus for EVERY LOAD
These goods are available for purchase nearby at Augsburg Wreck (Munich), Mainz Storage Facility (Frankfurt)
The only terms and conditions are:
- You must provide guncam evidence with a time stamp of EACH delivery (forgery will not be tolerated) along with a bank for transfer
- You must abide by the laws of the Corsairs when in their space
There is over 250,000,000 SC up for grabs. Don't miss out!
Regards,
Dr. Jackson
Of particular interest was an apparent collaboration with the Corsair, as evidenced as the mention of their laws. Following the neural net trail beginning with your public transmission, GMG has also been privy to the location of your station and its contract with Samura Industries:
Information: Class: Alpha Class - Undergoing Beta Upgrade
Location: Omicron Theta, Sector F4, Planet Vespus
Outfit: Deep Space Research
Owner: Dr. Daniel Jackson
Licensing: Corsair Acceptance
Intent: Currently the primary purpose of Sydney Station is to research the causal factors behind Planet Vespus' desolate and lifeless nature, and in turn use these discoveries to perhaps prevent such occurrences on other worlds as well as explore the requirements to terraform such a world.
Secondary to this research, Sydney Station will serve as a base of operations for further study in the region. Scientists from all fields will be welcome to apply for a lab and further enrich this growing scientific community.
All visitors are cautioned however, you must abide by the Laws set forth by our gracious hosts.

In the interests of the security of Guild space and its surrounding systems, we would like to inquire as to the status of your station and relationship with both the Corsairs and Samura Industries.

Subject: Security Concerns
Good day,
While I understand that their may be some misconceptions about the purpose and alignment of Sydney Station I will make it very clear here:
The request for traders to follow the laws of the Corsairs does not in any way represent "collaboration" but more simply is a public service announcement to traders who would potentially put themselves in danger, not to mention jeopardise the peaceful existence of the station. I would make the same statement regardless of my location, be it within GMG space then I would ask they respect your laws - yet we do not "collaborate".
As for Samura, I would be very interested in how a secure two-way commlink was jeopardised, however, I digress. This is simply a business dealing with Samura with no ulterior motive other than receiving the goods requested. I notice you haven't questioned my dealings with OSI - or were you unable to receive those comms....
As you would have noticed, the base is not a military station, there are no weapons. We do not intend to change that. We are merely trying to conduct our research and maintain the peace as best we can, after all it is a dangerous part of space.
If there is any way we can further accommodate your concerns please contact me on this channel.
