I owned my Xbox360 for two years before the red ring of death appeared, Microsoft replaced my Xbox360 in eight days for free. I am so far very happy with the purchase, hardware and available game for the console.

And to all microsoft bashers: Microsoft replaces xboxes with the RRD for free. If you dont like it , go get a PS3 for all i care.
Well you wont be so confident when your Xbox does red ring. And when you get it back all you get is a 30 day warenty on a problem Microsoft know about. Which by the way incase some of you dont know is bad solders and equipment. Not only do Microsoft know but they have said its not a problem they are going to fix. So basically its just a thing thats going to happen again. I still have a Sega Dreamcast, Xbox old, PSX, PS2 and i even still have a Nintendo for christ sake.
And dont think because you have an Elite, this myth thats going about saying the Elite is imune to these problems. Because it isnt. Mines went after a year.
ive had a 360 since its release, never had a problem.
All consoles break eventually, sure some break more than others but sometimes its actually the game developers fault.
Rainbow Six:Las Vegas Multiplayer bug anyone? or w/e it was called.
Both consoles have its advantages and disadvantages so go figure.
