I think voiceovers are not the issue here:DYou can always add a descriptive text that gives you a clue what you have to do next.
The problem is that the missions you accept now are taking place in pre-defined regions of space. That's why after some time you really know where you have to go when taking missions from one single station.
I'm unsure if the "kill this" or "tractor in" missions can be adjusted to other mission objectives. Scripting seems to be the best possibility for this because Cannon and the other dev's here are very good scripters, and maybe they can work out something!
Trying to bring life in an old thread but if the devs could answer this it would be nice.
IS it possible to script missions like this and would you do it if enough ppl asked for it? i for one really would love to see these kind of missions for different factions like dse agira synth foods and more.

Unfortunately, the mission types are fairly hardcoded. There's a few ways we can tweak them for more variety, but our attempts are pretty limited without the source code. Plus Cannon and maybe AD are the only people who could really code that sort of thing, and they have a huge workload already.
I've been looking at this in the background. The two things that seem to be needed are the ability to create custom loot missions, and to have the mission end-point be different from the mission start-point. Then its just "take this item to here" where "this item" could be anything from basic cargo for bowex or refugees for zoners, or cardamine for outcasts, etc. I haven't really tried cracking it yet, been focused on the wiki converter
