You're probably the only one with enough time to retry that "escape from Liberty" mission a hundred times:P

I don't know why people complain about that mission. I've done it about four times with Disco on, and completed it first time round each time. Luck of the almost Irish I suppose.

Hint: Grab Kadesh LF and get ready to thrust a bit to avoid da cruiser + dodge like hell. I've passed the 4th mission after 3rd retry tho. *remembers the mission with RH fleet in Taus* Brr.

I remember the Rhineland fleet as well... That one's the biatch. I don't think I ever completed that one. Especially seeing as the Hackers' in the cutscene specacularily failed to kill the BS.

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

can that escape from liberty mission be done with say a BH Batlecruiser with cap mk 8 armour and ah.. just solaris and cerberus guns?

cos i was going to do the ENTIRE sp campaign in that ship...

Are you activating it with Freelancer Mod Manager?

Use it from there and activate OpenSP. You can start in any sector with any amount of money you may want.

You may want to also use the IONCROSS character editor to teleport yourself as certain cap ships available in certain bases simply won't let you undock after purchasing. The Rheinland Pirate Cruiser out of Bornholme for instance -- you just get stuck in the station.
