It's not very often we get folks from our sister organizations applyin'. I'll be callin' some of my associates there, and as long as they don't tell me any horror stories, I can see about fast-trackin' you to a senior role.

For now, you'll go through the process like everyone else, and we'll find plenty of work to suit your particular talents. You may report to the Pittsburgh office, and I'll have us chat at least once before you're off on your haulin' assignments. We do things a little differently from Universal Shipping, but I'm sure you'll get used to it after a few runs.

I'm glad to see you decidin' to put your considerable skills to use under our umbrella, so to speak. We have plenty of work for folks who can operate on their own out there, and there's always plenty of contracts to keep you occupied otherwise.

Now I understand you've gotten used to doin' things your way by now, but that will need to change. I don't doubt you can handle yourself in space, but representin' the company is another thing entirely. You see, you no longer need to answer to just yourself, but to me as your boss, and ultimately to them there shareholders who keep it all runnin'. So any time you make a decision out there, you keep all that in mind, yeah?

In any case, you'll wanna go through the orientation materials which will be tailored to your level of expertise. Well now Mr. Florian.

When I took over after the interim, I suspected there'd be some growin' pains, with the senior folks waitin' to see what I bring to the company. But after most faded into obscurity or moved on to their own initiatives, I made my peace with raisin' a whole new crop of experts. So I am mighty glad to see this here app on my desk.

Naturally, your value to the company cannot be understated, if I am any judge from the readin' the older logs. But even in your case, we must see if there are any issues about us workin' together before you're given anything like your old responsibilities. Fly with the new crews and captains and learn the latest about our ops out there, and carefully read through the latest handbook. If time permits, I will also meet with you to discuss career goals, but at the very least we'll have a chat after your orientation.
