Nope,
We die a lot where ever we go.
It's just that there's a higher quality of interactions when it doesn't involve players like you.
Also , I am not whining.
I am very happy with the current situation.
Edit: I will shut up from now on , said my share on things and not planning on flaming.
Also Revan did not raged and F1nned on me like I stated earlier , I mixed up names.
My apologies for that.
if you play the game instead of just arguing about it on the forum, you would find that you could eliminate the opponent a lot faster and with more efficiency - decent teamwork and coordination included, which is from my experience exactly what wins battles.
Don't really know what the point with this thread is. It's been pointed out already that Sairs and Outcasts are different than the Hessians in that they have 1 main planet each from which they do most/all their recruiting inRP, which limits strategies (no choice but to defend that one planet) plus makes Sairs and Outcasts particularly vulnerable to raiding - Sairs cant scatter and regroup in the same Guerilla-style as Hessians can, except by abandoning their homeworld which wouldn't make any sense. Also especially Gamma is quite easy to enter unnoticed as it borders fairly populated transit territories and the JH themselves being located far from the planet where most people are situated for obvious reasons. Moreover, when getting killed in Alpha or Gamma and not being able to log on for another 4 hours limits the players a whole lot more than say a LN pilot getting killed in New York, who can relog and get similar RP in California.
When it comes to raiding a balance has to be struck to ensure that it is somewhat entertaining for both parties (but raiding should definitely occur to some extent and always in plausible alliances), just like a balance has to be struck when making demands in piracy situations (crystallized in sanctions for demands deemed excessive).
These things are of course mechanical OORP-issues, but like so many other things in Disco a layer or lore can be (have been?) added to smoothen things out. Beefed up Battleships guarding jumpholes could also do it, rather than roleplaying/imagining an impenetrable defense barrier of sorts - considering Corsair lore and their über warmongering skills and experience, the location of Planet Gamma in relation to the jumpholes along with the fact that Gamma lacks true buffer systems, I'd say that the Corsair who was in charge of planning the defense of Gamma's entry points should be beheaded for lack of strategic overview. For Corsairs and Outcasts alike, their home planet is the Achilles' heel - one that should be explored but not exploited by their adversaries.
Also Sairs and QQ, I think they have actually been handling frustrations quite well, all things considered. In the last few months there's been various nerfs (guns have now been re-balanced I believe though) as well as Sairs having several incidents of large scale "player-hating" OORP assaults lauched against various holdings, and in the light of that there haven't been many Corsair tears really.

There are two systems in discovery which are held, for reasons unfathomable, as sacred. Omicron Alpha and Gamma. Intrusion into these systems has, historically, generates a slew of hand wringing and insistence that the rules be shaped so as to deny those persons who would trespass be tossed out the door by vengeful gods of the metagame.
Omicron Alpha and Gamma, I won't point fingers at who I'm talking about specifically here (Gamma) are not special. They have a dock able base in that system which is situated in front of a large collidable object which has a spherical shape and a texture pack which looks like a planet.
The denizens of those systems hold no compunction about visiting their neighbors, in fact they generally hold the largest tourist rights in game, yet seem more intent on sticking next to their texture ball than any other.
The Hessians can go to Gamma. The Corsairs can go to, well wherever the hell Hessian land is. The Corsairs will sob a riot if a body spots a Molly by their texture ball, and rightly so I might add, yet maintain dry eyes whilst parading through Dublin, New London, Berlin and good 'old 41.
I know this post won't change anything and serves little more purpose than allowing me to stutter through my points on a tiny iPhone keypad. But the home systems of the two largest free roaming pirate factions in the mod are not sanctified, they're just as valid a target as any other system. No matter what color your texture ball is or what the info card associated says.
There seems to be a big split on the playerbase here regarding corsairs and ...everyone else. More importantly, a lot of confusion. I know theres a lot of Q_Q. Theres threads all over the place regarding it. The thing is I'm not sure many understand it. Comments like:

Seriously?
Just how often do the corsairs raid New London with so much firepower they are able to not only defeat everything in it but hold it for 30 minutes before getting bored?
Not defeated. Just bored. Can any Bret player tell me when that last happened because I bet anyone with a corsair character can recall when Gamma was last raided with overwhelming force.
Can any RM player tell me when New Berlin was locked down because of a corsair incursion?
Hessianland?
I don't wish to point fingers because it isn't down to them but have you not noticed their area of operations now includes Bretonia apparantly (see thread re: base destruction in Cambridge). Their ZoI is pretty much as big as the corsairs so hats off to them for getting that through the Devs. Just about everywhere a corsair can go, a Hessian can. Coincidence?

Go anywhere near a House system and at least three ships appear with the sole intent of fighting you. I'm afraid that gets a little boring after a while. Infact, go anywhere at all and that includes Gamma as you already pointed out and at least three ships attempt to kill you.
Your entire game as a corsair consists of fighting or a sit out for four hours.
Nerfs, forum fabrications and an apparant animosity from particular people who have some position of elevation here continue to agravate this situation and I'm not really sure just what this thread was aimed at achieving with the possible exception of nurturing that very feeling.
