Also I spend most my time in bretonian space and bounty hunters seem to have a good foot hold there. I'm not stuck in stone though I am willing to try other factions it's just currently the people I talk to the most in game are buying bhg ships.
Even though I want to be bhg I'm not a huge fan of their ship design. Which is why I made this thread, I liked the arbiter seemed to me one of the better fitted combat ships in the game, making it very appealing for use as a bounty hunter/mercenary. I see now though that they are much harder to get then I previously thought. Which sucks since they are one of the better looking and equipped battleships.
You should read the BHG Core ID, you can find it here.
On the ID, it says "May not enter any system containing a jumpgate while flying a cruiser or larger." So if you want to fly around Bretonia as a Bounty Hunter, you're going to want to buy a gunboat or smaller.
Yes I see that now. I'll have to rethink my strategy then.
First, Bounty Hunters are enemies to Hellfire, so they dont use Arbiter. Well normal BHG ID dont allow battleships and the core one doesnt allow if on a system with a jumpgate. Perhaps inRPly who would get that, maybe the bounty hunter defect to the Legion and going back? That would count as treason.
Second, its tech isnt compatible, and you would be flying with 10% core if you had a BHG/Core ID. Unless your a Core ID that have SRP application approved (its very unlikely)
