People pretty much dont know what feedback threads are for. It is rare to actualy receive good propositions to improve role-play or at least something worth to read.
I'm not gonna say that how you feel is invalid, Snake3, but that's the kind of attitude that makes feedback threads what they are. A lot of "What I'm posting is fact, so they have to take it seriously and bow to me, right?" Both sides are guilty of this at times, it's what often begins that downward descent into a fiery, muddy slop hole with which we all end up crawling out of feeling like we could use a good shower and want to take the opportunity to get as far away as possible from the person we were just talking to.
I think feedback threads have a good purpose but poor execution, although I'm not sure a direct PM to the leader always is going to solve anything - those are too easy to brush off. Feedback threads provide us one centralized place to have our dirty laundry, and then as Daedric so accurately put it, show how each faction can air said laundry out.
Unfortunately, most factions use this as as a place where we can do something akin to a couple pieces of cookware accusing each other of being a certain color. In the event where a faction does accept the feedback and answer with a reasonable response, that response oftentimes isn't acceptable to what the person bringing the criticism wants to hear (I can point out the Sails feedback thread right now for an example of this). More often than not, whatever comes in with the intent of "Feedback" often ends up accusatory because whoever posted feels hurt at the time, or hasn't observed the situation from a perspective other than their own.
I would know, I've done such and looked like a moron for it. Sandwich Rule: it's a lovely thing.
So I guess we are talking about different things. I said, that feeling annoyed is more often happening than someone annoying. Since it does include being annoyed by someone directly too as well as indirectly.
