Cutting bots wont change anything people already are bot feeding all the time using different tactics- repair ships capital ships and traders bot feed all the time

This is not true. Eagle with Claymores have around 5k hull dps and can use it 30% of the time due to energy regen- so eagle got like 1500 hull dmg per second if it deliver it to let say cap ship for 10 seconds it is 15k
it makes 90 000 hull dmg per minute if it could deliver it with 100% accuracy it would kill a lot of stuff really.
The problem is not in the dps but in the accuracy. You can increase the accuracy by increasing fire rate and speed of the weapons, but however if eagle can deliver 90k dmg per min to any cap ship then the cap ships are screwed. It is same with the bombers- roc can do more dmg then barghest because it could survive a lot more even when barghest have better core, one torpedo slot more, more hull better shield and more bots and bats. Good example for it is why nobody flies the fanfir but everyone flies the snubnose .
I would buff bomber weapons and torpedoes with 20-40 % and make all barghest size and agility but with 250 bots and bats- easy pray for fighters, on the other direction I would nerf 20-40% of the fighter weapons dps in exchange for gun speed buf and make em all with 10% less hull- this together with cap ship hull buff of 20% and GB shield regen twice together with making cruisers usable by adding proper fast turret rotation to them and better razors and anti snub options.
In the end you will have easy to kill bombers by fighters, easy to kill caps by bombers, easy to kill fighters by fighters and hard to kill caps by fighters- what is actually the idea of the balance. So if you go after caps you will need bomber to kill it because fighters would be ineffective, if you go after trader you will need bomber to kill it because fighters will be not fast enough, and if the bombers are actually easy to kill for fighters you will really need to combine bombers and fighters in a proper way to kill everything, not like now- fighters killing caps. Making bomber tactical vessel very fragile with a lot of fire power is the way to go.
and finally transport ships are also really easy to balance because you can buff their hull with the same % of the buffing the bomber torpedoes/weapons and even add 10% more to ensure transport survivability- it also means no pirating in alone fighter any more because you cannot damage the transport in the needed time.
Gunboats will be harder to balance because they would die more easy to bombers but if you give them a bit more shieldregen and hull bombers wound not kill them that easy.

Gunboat can survive long if they dodge torpedoes which are hard to hit with (trust me, i fly dual nova barghs and it's a pain against gunboats who actually dodge). The only problem is SNAC which is pretty much point and hit, without even an ammo.

That would make fighters significantly more effective against heavier ships such as transports and gunboats. Raising firepower isn't the answer here I think.

Yeah, and then we will see more fighters solo pirats.
Fighters already has nice weaponry, which should remains more or less.
Fighters need faster guns, so that dodging like crazy is not as effective anymore as it is now. Certain ships can dodge the incoming fire of tons of enemies for way too long. I have seen it from both sides. And I think these dodge-fests are tedious for both the hunted and the hunters. This why, escorts could finally stop a bomber instead of being reduced to a scout for transports.
Also SNAC range should be reduced to at least BS Solaris range, because honestly, the prime defense against bombers for BSs has half the range of a SNAC. If you want long-range bombardment, pick Novas. Would give them a real sense then too.

I'll just isolate that sentence because it's extremely true, and the reason why I almost never pvp with a fighter. I get bored when a fight takes too long, hence why I prefer to pvp in capitals.
