Here you spoke about some people... if you mean on BDS that ok. I m only one, individual here who seen some mistakes in ID , i never use GB i never learn to fly with GB... i prefer bombers, and for piracy in Kusari i ALWAYS use my FA bomber always..
And for the rest of what you wrote ...
Quote:I led an official faction, so I should be first to QQ about this

I joined ]bd[ with Yuki (the character not the player) before I even left BDS or rather was removed but that's not a discussion for forums.
If you want me to return tell Yuki (the player ) , but that's not the point of this thread.
It was clearly said that Hogosha (also mind all quasi-legals) will loose their ability to pirate in any house space (notice I said house space = all house spaces). While upon hearing it first I might not have agreed on it, now I do. After seeing what certain indie groups did, I am rather glad that this change was made. Why don't you roll in Bretonia? There might not be any real war, but that doesn't mean people forget easily, on both sides.
All I see is loosing a low blow way of piracy by camping infront of a ore sell points and when KNF or KSP tries to do anything show them your middle finger.
' Wrote:It's ok, I just saw a Ku Explorer with Hogosha IFF and Farmer ID camping Tsushima.
So, it's np, see how players always adapt.
Now they are going to ruin another ID, hopefully just themselves.
and there is it the same players who was hogosha now they FA... and what you do nothing same players will do same...
And yes because of one or two players who was camping near bases or JG and almost destroying one miner factions change a whole ID who was intresting to be yakuza , i was for a change but make hogosh to be true criminals not semi-quazy criminal, make them to red on KNF KSP and corporate not to land on samura but not attack them and can ally with them to protect them , like for example nomads and outcasts they red to each other or at least OC to them but OC cant land on nomad base ....
that is hogosha to be criminal in Kusari not borderworlds, in borderworlds he is already criminal all red to them, GMG, GRN, OC, ...etc
I'm stunned that this thread is still open.
The ID was changed as a consequence of abuse by a lot of people.
They disregarded any RP behind the faction.
You can thank them for the change.
It is a bit sad that this step had to be taken, but people just seem to love to abuse such stuff.
And I'm very happy to see this step being taken by the admins.
It was getting ridiculous for those who still RP'd around the issues created.

Hogosha are more than regular criminals, they have a lot more power than John The Pirate!, Crime isn't only pirating. No one can see that Hogosha are the only ones that can take Artifacts to Kusari? And to Gallia?
That's where Hogosha's power recide, Artifacts, connections, like real Yakuza, they live for and by their connections, not for robbing a pitty transport.
People don't exploit the Hogosha ID as they should, they abused of a single talent it had, now that talent is gone.
Same thing than the Miner ID, people can't have special things because they abuse of them.
So much for no Q_Q post when i wake up................
over 55 posts.. i mean.. really? My email inbox REALLY disliked it.
okay. first question: svarog. Yes, i'm the current leader of the Black Dragon Society. And still, i support the no-piracy thing (but i do support demanding contraband etc.)
SEBASTIAN! THANK YOU!
Finally someone who understands what the Hogosha are all about. May i direct you to THIS topic?
As for the rest of the crying; Get a grip, get a pirate ID. Them indies don't deserve the Hogosha ID.

But you already know that, don't you? That's what you liked..
Nope I didn't knew that nor used that. From my time being in hogosha, which wasn't a long timespan (mainly with Sina's organized Yakuza) we never pulled that trick out of the sleeve. But what I've witnessed that there isn't much to do in and around kusari without organizing anything prior that. Becouse the acticity in and around never was high enough to just log and have fun without wasting half an hour to figure out what to do.
The problem might have been quite big then mining was such a big deal and profitable. But after few nerfes took place the traffic in kusari declined drasticly.
Also to put hogosha on par with junkers is silly. Junkers are sirius wide faction, while hogosha stages around their home house.
From my point of view hogosha was that uniq faction in all discovery which added a very subtile flavour to entire kusari house. Heh, not surprizing, becouse corruption in Japan nowdays has totaly diffrent from as we understand it in western situation. Thefore trying to but "=" between hogosha, union corse and junkers is wrong.
"Subtle" - that's exactly what the Hogs should have been, but what those indies weren't.
That's the reason why their "RP" was so much not like the RP the Hogosha should have done. There was no subtlety. There was just piracy, right in the face of all lawfuls.
I always loved seeing them as mysterious, subtle, having some kind of honor...whatever.
But the indies smashed that image, turned into a blant "lawful pirate"-one.
So heh, sad to see the faction's possibilities being limited now, but it had to be done.
And I'm glad in the end that it was done.
