Did about 2 hours tonight. Helped 3 or 4 people. Even ended up giving some guy relationship advice! Fairly sure that's not in my remit, but he did ask It's a funny old world. All in all, a good few hours. Hope I made a difference to some. [Angels]Mac
Only on a short time tonight (about 2 hours on and off), long enough to change my ship and help 2 people. One guy wanted to know where he could get a Transport with 2k cargo and the other wanted to know about Pirate ID's
Seems this topic needs a little bumping.
Today I managed to be online for a while (yay), helped out many peeps meanwhile (at least I hope).
Also met with Doj, and meh.. not surprised about your actions.. after you told that the troll is you, things became suprisingly clear about the actions in conn...
Anyway had some nice RP with Hans.von.Goeben, too. Keep those wines for later
After being gone for...oh, more time then I can remember. I wandered into the cobwebbed part of the hanger and lo and behold, hiding in the corner sat my little Angel Starflyer--glowing softly it sang a mournful tune.
So mustering a little courage, I hoped in and adventured into space.
A couple of interesting calls. One fellow in a Mastodon kept getting the cheating console message and smartly kicked from the server. After an admin massage, the problem should be cured.
Another pilot wanted a new name for his ship and was going to delete the character and start over. I explained the use of "renameme" and off he went to honor and glory.
A big thanks to Moveit56 and Snoopyman for the company.
Good evening and another fine night in Pennsylvania.
Met some wonderful pilots including Magnus, Last.Ottomans, Sinistar, Gateway|-GSV-Pish, and BlackBean Salad to name a few.
Topics of angelic discussion included the woes of being pirated while mining, how does an enterprising fellow get a Barge, and that new pilots are highly welcome with Gateway Shipping. See their recruiting information in the Sirius Forum Network.
Gateway also recommended shipping Boron from Pittsburgh to Oceana Shipping Platform in Cortez at coordinates 4/D-E. A nice trade run for new pilots just graduating from the Erie Flight Academy.
And lastly, if you've had a positive interaction or even a challenging one with one of our Angels. Please leave a comment in our Feedback thread. We love feedback.
Had a nice shift this morning. Met some wonderful pilots including Edinbourgh, Matilda Antioch, Simicaudipipteryx, and Zuurkool.
Angelic topics of discussion included what to do if not many pilots are out flying and you're feeling bored. If no action can be found in Connecticut, then talk to an Angel. We are very friendly!
Had a discussion about roleplaying with Das Wilde. That's a tricky situation since having your ship blown up so the Wilde can use the parts and your human dna for regeneration is usually what happens. But sometimes they will dialogue with you....no guarantees though. They are very nasty!
Difference in chat between /system and /local.
And lastly a friendly pilot wanted to see my Starflyer up close. It seems my little ship is quite rare.
The warm waters, white sands, and tropical breezes of Planet Gran Canaria. And the blue system, very beautiful. A must visit for those feeling a bit weary and needing a vacation.
I met some great pilots today including UltraUschi, Bobby_Flyers, OPG Andre, Gaia, Cunctator, Yashida|Kikhansha-13, Gateway|GSE-Razor-4-7, and [*USI*]Uhuru[CLO].
Topics included how to get unstuck from a base, good trade runs involving player owned bases and premium ore, is there a pending war between Liberty and Kusari (one never knows), how are large battle events organized (usually on the forums and Skype), and a shout out to Andre and the Omega Pirate Guild (OPG).
A few years back OPG was a very large and active faction. Robbing, killing, and creating mayhem in Bretonia. Dieter and the Mandalorians use to hunt them mercilessly. All great fun. One can never have enough blood thirsty Corsairs.
A little evening shift while enjoying the golden sunlight in Dublin. I believe it's the glow from all the gold floating around that makes it ...well golden.
Met some great pilots including Falcon, AkuNiWaAkuo (hope I spelled it right), and Jaqen.Dior.
Interesting discussion as to why the Freelancer ID is limited to transports with a maximum cargo hold of 3600. I seem to remember the idea being it would encourage players with larger transports to use a faction specific ID to increase roleplay.
A fellow was flying a Chimaera HF with a freelancer ID and getting the 75% reduced power error message. I suspected the conflict was the Navy ship being used with a freelancer ID. He was going to either switch to a military ID or buy a civilian ship to check if the error message persists.
All in all a very pleasant evening. Feel free to say hello anytime you see me flying about.
I was watching the Sirius News Network on Freeport 1 and they were interviewing the Rheinland Chancellor. Long story short were the cutbacks in the Rheinland Military. But, he didn't mention the Bureau of Marine Intelligence...so maybe secretly the funds are being diverted from RM to BDM.
Inquiring minds want to know....so I found Agent Koch aboard BDM|U-201. He neither confirmed nor denied the report by the Chancellor, but he personally hasn't received a pay increase. I suspect he might be lying...he is a Rheinland Agent sworn to secrecy. So there you have it. Will the truth ever be known?
In addition to interviewing Agent Koch, I met some groovy pilots including TrendRay, Midnight's_Glare, GLOOM_WING, and Kruger|KMS-Glucksburg and Kruger|KMS-Kassel. Not sure where Kruger gets their pilots, but they sure are nice folks. Don't get me wrong, Agent Koch is nice too.
Almost forgot, I talked to Flo who helped me out in a jam. She's darn nice too.
Is there anyone not nice? Oh yeah, let's take Das Wilde Wesen and his gang. They'll blow up your ship, tractor you in and all your belongings. They inject you with something that keeps you awake while they scrape off your skin, remove your organs, blood is splattering every which way, then they remove their old eyes, pop out your eyes and put them in their empty sockets.
Now, if that doesn't give you the heeby jeebies, nothing will. Please avoid them at all costs.
