Arrow is a very expensive LF, but it's Liberty-made and civvie, so I guess it's okay. My Gaian flies a Griffin, and I love it. I have a Xeno in an Eagle, and it's a very nice VHF, though it is a big target. The civvy bomber is sold on Freeport 11 in Omicron Delta. Cheapest bomber, too: just over 3 mil.
the vanilla line of civilian craft only for my Xenos, including mk2 upgrades.
It comes down to a personal choice. I think the more different types of ships a faction uses, the less like a faction it looks. The small group of Xenos I fly with will have only one unique pilot while the rest of us look the same. That way the unique one is really unique.

I have to agree here. In the Serpentis we deviate slightly with the occasional use of the Crow and the Civilian Bomber... But, really, aren't they just examples of the Eagle's plump and scrawny cousins?
The Xenos have a perfectly good lineup of ships at their disposal, and perfectly good weapons to shoot. We're not flying the best of the best... But that's really not the point, is it?

No it's not, the point is we fly what people will sell us, not what we can buy in Liberty. The civvie line works wonders for us, its sold by the Zoners who have no morals and it's functional enough to keep us competetive. And I know the Eagles a good ship, watching Prospector flying his, makes me wanna get so much better at piloting.

Zoners! Pay no attention to my friend here. We're highly respectful of your neutral stances in things and do dearly appreciate the use of your ships and ship stuffz.

Anything agains the CODES?
Weapons are pretty simple. For stuff you buy at the store: Black Widows and Civvie Shield busters.
As to Codes, well, some of our folks use 'em (I've got a full rack of Cerbs on my bomber) and I've not heard any complaints... Chiefly because most everyone we come up against is wielding a loadout of nomad cannons/codes themselves in ships that move a bit better.
I've cooled on Codes myself though, my aim is just too wretched to make effective use of them. Nothing you can't do with some shield busters and black widows I say!

Well, not the LPI. We all have the same loadout, and same ships. I think we'r perfect!
But yes, more agile ship for certainly.
Xenos are our only real chance for a good fight, because they all fly small crafts.
Everyone else is just capwhoring, and we don't meet a lot of LH, though i would like that to change.

Okaies, I'm actually on a school trip and I'm typing this off a PC i'm using at the hotel, so about the CODEs... There is a rather large argument going on on Xeno private comms about that (well it was when I last checked 5 odd days ago anyways) and we I think the general school of thought was that CODEs were generaly not good RP for a Xeno if you had to travel long distances to get it. Local CODEs like the CERBRUS CODE are ok, I think.
Xeno weapons are hull busters anyway, so CODEs really are just slightly improved versions of basic faction weapons that eat huge amounts of power, really shield busters are a better investment. I don't have to worry about CODEs however seeing as my Crow dosn't allow me to mount them. And on Nomad cannons, I'm dubious about Corsairs using them, let alone Liberty dwelling groups.
Chopper: I like the LPI most out of all the Liberty forces, I remember once attacking a Liberator is it? in my Starblazer thinking it was a Patriot ... Boy did I get a shock:D I try to encourage Xenos to keep a second Xeno character that's a Hawk or Blazer, so you're Patroits should see some action. Patriots are highly annoying however...
Yngen: I'm afraid your post made me think about various equiptments I'm using. Maxed armour upgrade and a enhanced thruster... A bit hypocritical really. I'll swap the Enhanced for a Advanced and the Maxed armour for a Mk II like yours. Set an example to new Xenos an all that
