i've created a junker for the purpose of mining scrap - and the collector cannot fire the mining emitter gun. does it shoot bass ackwards or am i missing something?

I put mine on the backwards firing turret which makes mining a little bit slower but securing that the ship is still a mean fighter.

I like these ideas a lot, and also agree with Karst's post wholeheartedly.
