What? Some people want Corsairs to use Slaves? What? Slavery is Outcast bisness, because outcasts lack of numbes and need to use free work power in many places. The Corsairs are large in numbers, even too large. We send our young people to death often, we cant feed all of our nation properly, we engaged in many wars yet still are largest criminal organisation Sirius ever had.
The only use for slaves would be human organs or cannibalism, but both of them are kind of low. The Corsair lore says that Sairs were always against piracy. They always killed its enemies and never accepted anyone nonCorsair born into nation. I dont really know why some people arguing so hard about it. Slavery is against corsair law and besides, we have artifacts to smuggle with. Go use that. Stop wasting time screaming about something quite useless and nonCorsair.

Corsairs =/= Kusari
We are much closer to Kusari then you may ever imagine. Stop bringing Corsairs to the buttom with your views on them as worst persons on sirius, bloody murderers and greedy pirates. You go join LR if you so want to be nothing but criminal. Corsairs are a nation, proud and strong. You can RP that OPG are worst criminal scums that Corsairs have to offer, but dont speak for all of the factions. Thats kind of became a nuisance for some people.

Human trafficking is not same as using slaves in working fields. or you suggest that human trafficking is absent in Sirius now? We do have human trafficking problems now for many reason, not only forced labour.

Again, you don't have to be user of drugs to run or deal in drugs.

Low? define low, killing people for their belongings is not low? And where dah hell you come up with corsairs being against piracy?

Ye, that's the point I'm trying to debunk, that human cargo or human trafficking, or usage of alive humans to profit is somewhat nonCorsair. Because this notion has no basis in corsair lore what so ever, but some made up crap by few players who had liberty to enforce their will upon others.
It's within collision of corsair lore, it's smuggled notion of player bias of what corsairs should be, but not developed further feature of corsair nations from vanilla base of corsair lore. Of what makes sense.
Read my first post on page 2.
People continue to speak of honorable corasirs, who kill zoners silently when they have a chance for no big reason apart personal distaste. ... ahh. This corsair hodor thing does not fit into corsair lore. Now I don't mind you playing a knightly corsair, but do not enforce this nonsense unto others. And since some players took liberty and misused they power they now force me to abide the corsair law which is grounded not in the lore of the faction, but personal biases of the players. I recognize this as a seriuos problem which must be addressed, because it's ruining the corsair faction from within and reduces the complexity of possible corsair roleplay.

Can you support your claims about we being similar to Kusari with arguments ? Hopefully from Corsair lore ?
I'm not making anyone play their Corsair as cruel and vicious criminals, you can play them as there is a "Corsair house", but I think mine RP views are much closer to the true Corsair lore. If you can, please show me that I am wrong, and if you do, I promise you I will change my character to match true Corsair lore-wise.

It's been 4 pages. And yet no-one presented any evidence. Or atleast derivatives or more plausible speculations for so called corsair honor code, and why it should be applied to enslavement or mistreatment of other houses citizens.
While I haven't presented obviuos evidence for corsairs being pro-slavery I do not try to do so. All I'm asking is removal of limitation some players set onto other corsair players not to trade or deal with human cargo in order to profit from it. As it makes no sense to enforce such laws for corsair nation.
So what has been done. Some players limited other player roleplay freedom basing such decision on nothing more than their knightly character troope. This is wrong and should be revised.

In reality you are actually asking that all of the Corsair players that don't agree with you should be made to agree with you by changing the Corsair Laws. Based on the majority of the Corsair players and their apparent RP views that they have expressed here, it seems that you are in the minority (although I may be wrong).
Your second paragraph is not entirely fair. You are quite correct that there are limitations placed on your RP as a result of the RP Laws - but so what? Is this not also the case as a result of some of the server rules? If that is not the case then I guess that is my mistake, and I would like to propose we simply remove all RP rules from the game as this will reduce the number of "I can't do what I like, and it is limiting my RP" threads from now on and allow everyone the same opportunities to do everything, whenever and however they like without the requirement of wasting time on the forums typing "stuff".
You have stated that you feel it is incorrect to have your RP freedom limited by others whilst seemingly being more than prepared to force a change on their RP because it suits your desires. I don't entirely see how you can say the one and then demand the other? Maybe I have misunderstood you?
If you don't want to play in broadly the same way as it seems the majority of Corsairs do, then perhaps consider becoming an outlaw?
People, what happened to the ruthless pirates, that would send their children all the way to Bretonia to return with food for the nation?
Sorry, but this is not the Corsairs I know. Neither from Disco experience or vanilla.
I am not saying I am completely all up to Corsairs importing slaves (hard to support slaves when you can't support your own people, and stealing already packed up food is more efficient than people for cannibalism)
BUT, what's stopping corsairs from EXPORTING slaves? They get plenty of captives whom they wouldn't mind to sell to the odd junker so he'd work in their stations and ships?
Why would any corsair care? He can profit from it, get food, whatever.

Yes, you do missunderstand.
I do not require everyone to play their characters like I do mine. That would be really strange. I'm asking not to attempt to change corsair lore by smuggling in personal feelings into the game. These are wishful thinking that corsairs supposed to be noble people. They are not. You can play your character like that, if you want, but they are not such people. By denying this fundamental part of the lore you are skrewing up entire faction. It's not just some character in game rp decisions is altering of game setting.
And I would be ok, if this altering would be reasonable logical succession of vanila or preset corsair lore. But it just isn't. And what supposed "majority" feels like has nothing to do with how things supposed to be. If suddently great majority of oc players stop feeling like playing outcasts as drug dealers, they in roleplay setting will still remain drug dealers.
Same goes here. But big problem arises. I don't care if it would be just random council brainfart, but it seems that this brainfart is being pushed into corsair fundamental lore there it just not fit.
It's not about forcing me to play directly in some stupid way. It's altering the setting I play in which shouldn't be even able be altered by player actions.
One can play his hodor, drilling and big cohones moto corsair as long as he wants. But this should not be a preset for any other corsair character other players makes, unless it really makes a lot of sense for corsair lore to be developed into it. But it isn't. There is nothing what would suggest such notion of corsair development apart few players beliefs of feelings about the faction of what they want from it or what they want it to be.
