I still wonder, why would developers disable ability to roleplay while cloaked. If so, all docked ships should not be able to RP too. To avoid trollish RP, you know. Same for shot down ships. No local or system chat in the same system you died for at least 5 minutes.

There is no "choice" here. Broadcasting a message in local/system chat means you are revealing your position to everyone who detects the message, rendering the cloak useless.
Unfortunately, it isn't possible (or is it?) to reveal just the position of the ship without making it visible.
I wonder if it's feasible to have the cloak stop working for, say, 5 seconds after you broadcast a message? Then it activates again immediately.

Something similar has been talked about, but we have a much more important matter that must be taken care of right now. All improvements and additions are on hold untill that "matter" is solved.

Yes, this was actually one of the only ways a cloaked ship could give away the fact that it is nearby enough to you to get communicate in local chat. people were concerned about being 'taunted' (*sheds tear*) but didn't realized they supported making it harder it find cloaked ships with big mouths (and those are the one's you just might find). The chat change was really to prevent factions from spying on each other with cloaking liners sitting in someone else's guard system, and casting endless system chat 'taunts'. Trust me, the cloak isn't useless after you talk, only if you stay in one place, and get too close. I still see no problem with letting a cloaked ship compromise itself by breaking silence if it wants to.
What they should have done was deny system chat to cloaked vessels, and continued to allow local. If you're being taunted in local, you at least know your 'opponent' is close and not somewhere 50k off plane. In the end they can still enter guard systems cloaked, go 50k off plane, decloak and taunt in system chat. :/
Are you both forgetting that uncloaking and instantly opening fire with or without RP is against the rules? Not looking what you are typing is no excuse.
Restoring the ability to talk while cloaked (which makes about zero sense) would enable those people to circumvent the rule.
(And some people are already uncloaking, /l1-ing and shooting in the timespan of 1 second while hoping no one is taking screens like mad)
