About the tradelane bug; Is there a way to implement a deactivation way for TLs through FLHook , instead of shooting them down? Can the bug be solved with smth like that? Maybe there can be a specific equipment to deactive tradelanes , replacing CMs or a gun etc. Don't mind me, I am brainstorming D:
About the 5k gap between gates and TLs, that wouldn't make sense in house space, I mean, why would there be a huge control between ,lets say, Honshu -> NT ? Police has Tflagsnet thingy for that . However, it can be a nice idea on house borders, Police and Militaries will need to control what's coming in and out , could increase both Pirate and Navy activities on key points.
Removal of patrols make no sense, really. If you don't want to get disturbed while robbing a trader , sorry , but that won't happen. A pirate would know the risky spots , and avoid them, that's the reason those patrols are there.Just that, NPC razors are problematic+and CDs+, because they have no energy. They just fire it as its ready to fire.Maybe something should be done about that.

It's more about being more fair for pirates, because before they drop a demand, trader simply goes F3 on impulse - knowing that pirate cannot fire upon if they fail to comply with stop for a first time. But, that's connected with TL bug, hence why pirates sometimes just sit at the gates.
I agree 5K is a bit too much, so it could be 3K in House Space and 4K outside it would be more keen (opposed to usual 1500-1900m away from TL).
Piracy has already "been made easier" with hull and b/b of a number of transports nerfed by up to 20% each, something that isn't reflected in the patchnotes.
Anything else is not just specifically about piracy but rather about system design.

You can tear down another transport in half the time with a PTrans compared to a Waran. The only thing you'll have an exceedingly hard time pirating in is a freighter or fighter because surprise, surprise - they're not built with that role in mind.
I think you'll see my point next time you're flying a ptran and come across something like a fully charon'd Akegata with a CAU8. You'll be wishing for a snac+nova in no time! And ultimately I'm betting the guy has that armor on there because he's already had a run in with a waran or two. We've all done it. With proximity of bases there are few places you'll intercept a big ship like that and be able to take it down with anything solo. But I agree in a way, the ptran can certainly be fast and deadly, and the more evenly matched to its opponent the better its chances. To me, an epic battle between two transports broadsiding each other is way more fun and picking off a transport with torps. That's how I see piracy anyways. Now if it were a bounty hunter, I'd see at as more plausible for them to get their hands on a bomber (especially if an actual BHG ID which has become rarely used these days) and use it on a target regardless of the ship class.

I don't recall struggling against any kind of large transports regardless of its armor in my pirating Behemoth. Never really used a ptrans, though, so maybe it's not as good at it? I thought it was kind of small, however, which does help with dodging.
Regardless, in the Behemoth the fights were far from "an epic battle between two transports". It was just a small Behemoth dodging and weaving while the larger transport rapidly chewed through its regens.

Good luck, because opening new threads about the same whining issue wont help in anyway

Though it would be cool to have a cargo hatch sub-target that if you hit enough everything comes spilling out.
