Glenn was almost finished with his paperwork. Finally, he might actually get some time to go down to the bar and relax with everyone else. Just as he signed off on the last item, a parts requisition request for a load of engine components, the comm unit on his desk beeped. He switched it on.
"Thacker here, go ahead."
"Sir, this is Chief Wilson from security, we caught one of the new maintainance techs attempting to send out an unauthorized message to Planet Denver. The message was encrypted, so we don't know who it's intended for or what it contains, all we know is that he tried to bypass the lockout on unauthorized communication. We've got him in a holding cell at the moment. What should we do with him?"
Glenn realized that his evening of relaxation just ended, and thought for a moment. "Take him to interrogation and hold him there. I will deal with this personally."
"Yes, sir, we'll take care of it right away."
With that, the channel closed. Glenn considered for a moment exactly how he was going to handle the situation, then realized that he had the perfect tool for the job. He walked through a door in the back of his office and into his private quarters. There, he took what appeared to be a standard LPI stun baton off his wall. Before leaving, he quickly informed Jack of what was going on, then left to go to interrogation.
When he arrived, the room had three people in it. Standing near the door was one of the lower-ranked Security guards, who snapped to attention when Glenn entered the room. Clearly, he was ex-navy, and a recent recruit, since he hadn't lost his military habits yet. Glenn motioned for him to relax.
Closer to the center of the room was Ouray's Security Chief, Eddie Wilson. Wilson was an imposing man, known for his short temper and dedication to the Xeno cause. Eddie typically wore his uniform without a collar or sleeves, exposing the prison tattoos he had recieved during one of his stays in Huntsville, including the spiderweb tattoos on his elbows and the XA on the back of his neck. Honestly, Eddie Wilson scared him a bit, but he was fanatically loyal, and was only dangerous to non-Xenos.
Finally, tied to a chair in the center of the room was a man which Glenn didn't recognize. He wore the uniform of an Ouray maintainance tech. The nametape on his Uniform read 'Robinson'. He glared at Glenn.
"Mr. Robinson, Eddie here tells me that you were caught attempting an unauthorized transmission. Want to tell me what was in it?"
"I'm not telling you anything, you son of a bitch!"
Glenn looked at him with disapproval. "Not quite the answer I was hoping for." Glenn lifted the stun baton up to show it to the maintainance tech. "You know what this is?"
"It's a stun baton. You think you're going to intimidate me with that piece of junk?"
Glenn adjusted the controls on the baton, not looking at the prisoner. "You're half right. At one time, this was a standard LPI stun baton. When we got it, however, it was damaged. Now, working in maintainance, you're well aware of the fact that we're masters of make-do engineering. If you don't have the right parts, you use parts that work almost as well. Sometimes, Mr. Robinson, you get unexpected results when you switch parts. For example..."
Glenn touched the end of the baton to the prisoners shoulder. His eyes went wide and he screamed out in pain.
Once he recovered, Glenn continued talking. "In this case, instead of disrupting your nervous system and rendering you unconsious, this device now trigers the pain center of your brain. That was it's lowest setting. It has 8 more, and each time I use it, it cycles up to the next power level. At it's higest levels, the pain alone has been known to kill people. Now, about that question. What was in that message, and who were you sending it to?"
"Go to hell!"
Glenn touched him with the baton again. The prisoner screamed again, this time louder. Clearly, the pain was worse this time.
"Seven more to go. Want to rethink your answer?"
The prisoner glared at him. "No!"
This time, the prisoner's eyes rolled up into the back of his head and he doubled over from the pain. Still, he remained consious, though.
"Tell me what I want to know!"
"He said he'd kill me if I told you anything!"
"I'll kill you now if you don't." Glenn touched the prisoner again, and held it on him for a couple seconds this time. The prisoner's screams were almost deafening.
"Answer the question. Who did you send that message to, and what was in it!"
The prisoner looked up at him in fear. "Please, I've got a family at home. They'll be killed if I talk!"
"If I were you, I'd be thinking of your own saftey right now." Glenn hit him with the baton once more. This time, the prisoner's screams gave way to sobs, and the prisoner began crying.
"Had a change of heart?"
Through the tears, he said "I'll tell you, just don't hit me with that again..."
"Very good. Now, what was in that message?"
"It... it was the access codes for Ouray's defensive array, as well as the communication transponder frequencies for Xeno ships."
That information was serious. The access codes would allow anyone to access Ouray's defensive systems and leave the base defenseless. Almost as serious were the transponder frequencies. A powerful enough sensor array tuned to those frequencies could locate every Xeno ship operating in a particular system. It was a very good thing they caught this before it got out.
To the prisoner, Glenn said "I see. And who did you send this to?"
"His name was Mendoza... he's an LSF agent. He forced me to come here to infiltrate you and get that information. He was supposed to extract me after he got it."
"Mendoza, huh? I wouldn't have trusted his word if I were you. Still, your cooperation is appreciated."
The prisoner looked up at him. "Does that mean you'll let me go?"
"Not quite. Eddie, would you show Mr. Robinson the door please?"
Eddie smiled widely. "It would be a pleasure, sir."
Glenn turned and left the room to fill out his report to Jack, and to fill out a requisition form for some oxygen to replace what they were going to lose by ejecting Mr. Robinson out of an airlock.
I am currently out here in the middle of Squid world tade center it seems. I am in my newly aquired Preagle. I have a small problem...My credit card seems to be maxed out...or so they tell me at the dealer. Tryin to talk this guy down on his price on the Supernova, well might get a god deal, but man, he says my friggin' credits no good. So I am hangin for a bit, gonna see if I can't rustle up a bit o' work out here till I can get the launcher aquired. If by any random chance one of ya's decides to take a long trip out here, hit me up first, I wanna send a few bucks along so I can grab up some stuff to haul back.
Other than that, I'm doin fine. Hate the handling of this bloated pig of a ship, but I'll manage. But....I am officially requesting the next Undercover job in Liberty Military that I can get in on. Voluntary, no pay needed, so long as I am allowed to at least 'Try' to find a way to aquire one of them Havoc's they got. I seen one of them in action, and I'm told the Taidan is a better overall ship, but well...its just SOOOO DANGED PRETTY.......HAR HAR HAR! Well, till I can find a way to get this gun and some few other things, I will be out of the loop, and no use except as deep space recon maybe. Rand Reporting in XA-Mocassin, Preagle Bomber.
Over and out.

I had just gotten everything set up, and i was helping the xeno cause by taking care of some missions they needed to be completed. XA-Rat was broadcasting our messge in New York and a xeno was there to guard him against any possible threats. He finished and then returned to base. The other xeno did not. Then i recieved a distress signal from a xeno in New York. I headed there as fast as i could with help from another xeno. He arrived there before i did. At first it the fight was just against one Bounty hunter, callsign Vitaly. The a Merc callsign [\JG/]Dulapactus joined the fray. We still attacked, and majinly focused our fire on the Bounty Hunter. Then Liberty brought in a battlecruiser to our merry little party. Guess they take extreme measures now eh? I was blown up, but my life pod was safely brought back to Ouray. The status of the other two xeno pilots are unknown. I can only hope that they hadnt been captured by the enemy and transported safely back to Ouray.

Today me and Kaysan Rhoy encountered a rouge, comm ID Axton a little far from home. We told him to leave at once, and as he was doing so he was pretty courteous about it...for a rouge. He said that we were fighting against the same enemy, and told us to bear that in mind. But i told him our motives are wayyy different. We are fighting for change in liberty government and for the workers union. As a token of "good will" he left us a bounty hunter pilot. That pilot is now being interrogated. The rouge left and space returned to normal. I have a picture of the event.
Glenn rushed down the hallway while shooting at the security guards standing near the end of the corridor. After taking care of guards, he proceeded towards the storage room; Glenn had raided Detroit munitions for adv. debilitator turrets before, so it wasn't too hard to find the weapons.
"This is Falcon, I've arrived in the storage room"
"Roger that Glenn! I'll keep holding off the Police and LSF until you get out!"
Before proceeding to load the weapons onto a hover cart using the loading crane, more security guards arrived at the storage room door and began firing on Glenn. Thinking light on his feet, he ran over to a box of heavy weapons, took one out, and mowed down the guards. Glenn then placed a hidden detonation pack near the door, incase more guards showed up while he was loading the cart.
After loading the debilitators onto the hover cart, Glenn picked up the heavy anti-personnel laser cannon and set it on the cart. Rushing out of the room, there was a group of eight guards headed towards him, but Glenn quickly took them out with the laser cannon
"This is Pygmy, where are you Glenn!? A Gunboat and a mess of fighters just showed up! I can't hold them off forever!"
"This is Falcon, I have the goods. I'll be out any minute! Just hold 'em off for just a bit longer Sam!"
Hastily loading the weapons onto his ship, Glenn shot the guards attempting to prevent his escape. Hopping into his Crow, he fired up the engines, and blew open the docking bay door. His ship was sucked into space, and the adrenaline was beginning to pump through his body.
"Falcon here, I've got the weapons."
"Good to hear! Now get out of here while I stave them off for you!"
Glenn engaged his cruise engine, but quickly found all forces focusing fire on him. He tried to dodge, but to no avail. The ship's auto-eject mechanism launched Glenn into space. He was tractored in by a police officer, but Pygmy blew him up with a mine, and stole back Glenn as he flew from the wreckage.
"Don't worry buddy, I got'cha!"
The mission was failed, Glenn's ship was destroyed.. Sam's new objective was to get the hell out of there. Continuing the fight to see if he could down anyone else, Sam gave up, and actually managed to flee to the tradelane and disrupt it with a mine as he entered. He stopped half way and engaged cruise engines.
"The remaining xeno has fled, our mission is successful" Announced an LSF officer.
"You may managed to destroy Falcon's ship, and almost successfully capture him, but.."
Sam remained silent for a minute..
"The Xenos will be back! Next time we shall prevail! Next time, we shall be back with a fleet bigger than ever! We'll take on any enemy, Big or small! Fast or slow!"
Rand climbed into the pit of his bomber and set for launch. Command cleared him and he departed from The Alamo, with a friendly wing wave. Searching the Xenos Long Range Comms he found a couple new pilots out there. Hailing the couple fellows, he helped one get his bomber outfitted with a Nova and met up with the second to help finish up a mission against the Bounty Hunters working up in Kepler. Base destroyed the small group headed to Colorado. A quick stop at Nome for resupplies and small repairs from the radiation. The three set out, and after jumping into Colorado were joined by Akanell.Grant and proceeded to head for the New York Jump Gate. After a few attempts at closing the gate, even if only for a short time to prevent the lone Liberty Lawman that had jumped into Colorado and was doing a patrol. However on the last pass of my bomber dropping my Nuke mines a DW Gunship jumped in from New York and opened fire. I gave the group the green to open fire, and soon after a second DW-Suzanna, jumped in from New York. As our group started to fall to the two DW ships and the locals, I again gave an order. Pull out. I managed to pull a bead on the Gunship and start pounding it just moments before my bomber succumbed to a friendly fire torpedo shot. My ejection was fast and brutal. I felt myself being tractored and hoped it wasn't the DW. Luckily one of our group managed to pull me out and dropped me off back on Ouray. I am currently working on a new Bomber, I'm also gonna try to find a way to sleeken this down. Till I can get a newer one in my hands, I'm fixin up one from the Req. Dept. Sorry, in the loss of my vessel I lost any recordings I had managed to make. Rand out.

Well that was close. The Liberty Rogues made a move on the Colorado Jump Hole while I was fleeing from Trenton; a home I won't see again for a while. Wolfhounds were all over the place, a whole squadron was operating in the vicinity of the jump hole. Some Xeno starfliers were there, but we got overwhelmed. It was hairy but I managed to duck in and out of the area until I could jump into Colorado and tell the patrols on the other side to watch themselves. I made for Ouray with all speed, only to find some transport blowing the crap out of Xeno ships. I tractored in who I could and docked quick. I couldn't take on the transport, and my cargo of weapons and more importantly rescued Xeno pilots needed to be secure and tended to. The thudding outside Ouray stopped, so I guess things are ok now. I'm eager to transfer my weapons to your armoury, a dozen Adv Stunpulses survived my journey. Should help outfit your starfliers, blazers, and hawks. Contact me so I can offload this stuff and get to work on the problems facing us.

RE: Gear for the bank.
Recently I was in the bar when the open comms crackled to life. I keep an ear on the local chatter when I can. There was this fellow chatting as if he was in touch with someone already, though I had heard no response. After a few minutes of listenin' 'e said 'e 'ad a bunch of stunpulse guns for us. I launched my Hawk to take a look, and sure enough the guy came out with a bunch 'o 'em stunpulse guns. I got 'em stored in the small hold of my Hawk presently, 'e said they'd help our new guys.
Well when ya want 'em, call me out. I'm standing by on Ouray.
