I think people are forgetting why this was brought up in the first place. The reason why the IDs need to be customized is due to them having non-standard engagement rights (or lack thereof) than their displayed IFF or other.
What does a barely known command have to do with it?
A player wants to know whether or not he should fear himself be attacked by an SRP ID, do you really expect them to say ''please let me read all seven paragraphs of your setinfo to figure out your engagement lines''?
Stop being silly. The customized IDs could have been created and written by the whole time this thread was up.

Where will we get 20+ trusted people (with emphasis on the "trusted" part) who will be willing to edit, change, recycle and write all those individual IDs and who will oversee if they are all correct? What if someone with connections writes in more rights on some IDs than the SRP actually permits? How are we going to keep in touch with all character developments and judge which ones are metagamed and which ones are legit?
P.S. also, we are running out of space in our current .DLLs, that means extra DLLs have to be created just to manage those IDs

I clearly have no idea how much manpower is required to keep such a thing updated and how much there's left on the team, but a reference from one thing to the other seems like a quick middle ground.
To be clear, what I'm talking about is something akin to having a line like "SRP ID's are required to keep their limitations updated via /setinfo. Type the command /showinfo while selecting the target to read them." added to the ID, plus requiring having a concise /showinfo, not seven paragraphs. Ideally, such a thing shouldn't take longer than scanning and reading an ID.
On the other hand, if the problem remains on ID items and files, what about something like an admin command, such as /setsrpid, and another accessible by players, /showsrpid, that is kept updated to the last SRP ID restrictions found on the forums?
Personally I see no issue in making an actual ID once the ID lines are set.
The issue is that currently we cannot. The extra SRP Ids we have are in need of a patch to be fixed.

This introduces another layer of complexity in actually determining what an ID's rules are IMO. Adding a pile of SRP IDs that the administration team can do server-side infocards for is a lot more sane.

Yeah, it really wouldn't be difficult. We already have IDs for every official faction and I think there are more of those counting the dead ones that still have IDs for some reason than there are active ID SRPs.

Also Waratah is still permanently banned so stop trying to suggest that kalh is his alt
In regards to the id, don't you need to create a load (probably at least 50) blank ids? Is there even a limit to how many goods there are in the game? Having individual ids would be better for the sake of giving them separate benefits, like how shooters srp relies on the id being jump drive fuel
As the leader of the [HF], please take your complaints to our feedback thread, I'd be happy to address them there.
As for Kalhmera, I'm not sure if he has a feedback thread of his own, but as I said in orange text earlier in the thread, we don't do trial by forum. If you're an old vet guy from 2011 you should already know this.
