There's a joke to be made here, but setting one up right now would be too hard.
Memeing aside: the BWT's current model is atrocious. Glad to see this getting some attention-- and I love the incorporation of cargo pods.
I'm with Justin on the length thing though: the longer the better.

A simple, angry man casually working his way through life on a personal quest to acquire copious amounts of street cred.
The more I watch this model develop, the more I think "Man, this is a ship I could enjoy flying just about anywhere." I'm a sucker for cargo pod ships, but unfortunately there's a really big gap between the 3,000 and 4,500 cargo marks of the Heron and Crane transports. Assuming that these are planned to be 3,600 and 4,300 capacity transports, they'd help to fill the void currently displayed by the vanilla cargo pod transports.
Especially with a more recent patch having introduced a ton of different new cargo pods, it's really nice to see some new models incorporating their use!
Have I mentioned how much I love cargo pods? <3
Edit: I also just thought of a dumb, fun thing to do with these things. By forgoing the use of cargo pods, you have: Mobile racing gates!
Except that they'd be kiiind've expensive for racing gates.
The exporter issues were finally sorted out today, which means I'll probably go through this thing during the weekend and hopefully finish the textures.
Right now, as you have noticed, both the Transport and the Train use the same model. Had a bit of an interesting discussion over skype about this, so figured I may as well poll it to see which one would the community prefer.
The two options on the poll:
Same model: InRP, both Train and Transport would be the same ship, which can adjust its frame based on the amount of load its carrying (hence the rail and stuff). I personally kinda like this idea, as it adds a bit of flavor to the ship's lore, and it's something we don't really have in Disco outside of the CivTrain line. On the other hand though, two ships using the same model could get old much faster.
Altered model: InRP, the Transport will be the original model, and the Train will be retrofitted to be able to carry a larger load. This means the model of the transport will be slightly altered and probably with some components tacked on to it to make it look different enough as its own thing, rather than just a "happy" BWT.
The textures are mostly-done, but not mostly-done enough to post yet.
Was super busy at work these past weeks, which pretty much forced me to drop these altogether until that was done and gone. Wrapped up that work project thingie on Friday though, so now I have some free time again to do these stuff. For the time being, I'm primarily gonna focus on pushing the RM VHF out the door since that one's nearly finished already and just needs some cleaning up and a hitbox, but all the threads I have up are gonna get an update in the upcoming days.
