Estimated number of actively assigned and in-use small craft weapons is approximately equal to unassigned counts. The OIC has a few more prototypes out there in the wild than we do, and for obvious reasons neither you, nor I, nor Riley, nor God will be able to get them to cough up any details. Fuel reserves are fairly malleable; in an emergency situation we can transfer fuel between the cruisers, the frigates, and the transports. Pulling fuel out of the larger ships to feed the smaller ones is a bit more complex of a task but it's still something we can do if worst comes to worst. I'd say if we had to run quiet, run passive, and run defensive, with no resupply from the outside work, we could keep the whole fleet going for a year.
Thankfully, we have allies, and in regions where we don't, we have a large pile of cash.
Best regards,

Good day,
As you are all no doubt aware, the Gallic Royal Navy is making a solid push to evict the Council from Roussillon. Obviously, considering the recent evacuation, the Council is not confident in their ability to hold the system. Reports I've received, both from the Fleet and our allies, agree with that assessment. With the number of nuclear weapons that the Council imported, it seems likely to assume they're planning a scorched earth retreat. If so, it's very possible that the Royals, in the absence of exploitable resources or any major strategic objectives, will elect to move their forces elsewhere, leaving the system unoccupied.
Should that occur, I want all of you to to be ready for an immediate large-scale security and humanitarian effort in Roussillon. If there are any survivors left on Toulouse, they're going to need a lot of assistance, and having unsecured space on our borders is just asking for trouble later down the line.
We'll have to be quick. I doubt Gallia would appreciate us moving in after they get properly established. I'll make sure we have the resources set aside to support any such endeavor in the system.
(We're looking into it. Gallia is in a... fascinating position right now. -V.)
Well that's not reassuring.
Keep me updated.

Pilot Riley reporting,
As per orders, I flew down to Tau-115 to scout the current situation there. As expected, the Council has been fully driven from the system. On my way there, I saw that the Council battleship Pamiers had withdrawn to Tau-44. The Pamiers appears to be heavily damaged, but intact. There was an "allied" Gallic pilot nearby, but I couldn't understand a word it said, so I continued with my mission. May I suggest an operation to either capture the ship, or encourage it to be somewhere else, before the GRN decides to come knocking?
Upon entering Tau-115, I flew over to the planet. The docking ring was damaged and non-functional. The Montmorency Battlegroup was in a high orbit, but I kept my distance. Scans of the planet show that all four main settlements were destroyed by nuclear detonations. Scans for survivors are inconclusive, as this ship isn't really set up for that. After taking my scans, I quickly withdrew before Gallic patrols could converge on my position.
Upon returning to Tau-44, I landed at Sulawesi and turned over 20 captured enemy pilots. I'm not too happy about wasting good oxygen on the likes of them, but rest assured that I'm following Taskmaster Flores' orders concerning the treatment of prisoners to the letter.

There was major combat in New London, as I'm sure many of you are already aware. I stopped in to have a look.
It's really quite a mess out here. Warwick was lost. But Gallia lost far more. Gallia needed New London to fall, especially after Operation Ice Lance, and New London still endures. For now, at least; the war is not yet won, and you know what is said about wounded beasts. Instruct all civilian traffic to exercise extreme caution in the coming days. A return of the antics of the "Punishers" is very possible.
I will be lurking in and around Bretonia to try to monitor the situation, and see if I can recruit any local informants.
Leeds is in a major humanitarian crisis. I heard rumors that the GRN had begun bombing Leeds. Knowing that they already held the planet, I considered that a bit unlikely, but on the off-chance there was truth to the rumors, I requisitioned a shuttle and flew down to Leeds. What I found exceeded my worst fears. The GRN has englobed the planet with a fleet of destroyers, all of them firing some sort of large cannon down on the surface.
Normally, a journalist is expected to retain a certain detachment from the story and not get involved. In this case, though... I can't do it. I can't stand by and do nothing. I've been ferrying out refugees from the Resistance Base and taking them to New London. If anyone else is able to assist, get down here and help.

Taskmaster Flores reporting.
In accordance with the orders of the Consul, the Fleet has been working to protect evacuation transports leaving Leeds. On my own authority, I have elected to stick to defense and not interfere with the Gallic evacuation in any way, in hopes that their own patrols will reciprocate. Some have, others have not. I have been keeping the Unforgiven on overwatch duties to protect against Gallic patrols that have chosen to participate in the genocide.
Earlier today, while on overwatch, I encountered MRG Commandant Pierre Vaillant, first in a fighter, and later in command of the battleship RNS Sombre Destin. He was soon joined by the secondary fleet destroyer RNS Leygues and a fighter flown by MRG pilot Jeuge Duval. Neither Commandant Vaillant nor the forces under his command were interfering with evacuation transports, so we did not engage them.
We instead spoke at length, mostly about the war and our thoughts on the criminal turn it has taken. While the Unforgiven was engaged with an enemy battlecruiser/gunboat patrol, which Commandant Vaillant's task force assisted us with, they let slip a piece of intel that I think the Commission will find very interesting.
According to Commandant Vaillant, King Charles was not the one who ordered the bombardment. Instead, that "honor" belongs to the MRG's top commander, Amiral de Gaule Isabelle Montlaville de Chanteloup, who has since disappeared. With the speed at which Vaillant's task force withdrew after that, I suspect this was an accidental slip, though I cannot discount the possibility that this was "leaked" on purpose, to shift the blame onto someone else. I'm appending the relevant comm log excerpt to this report for OIC assessment.
[27.08.2019 18:55:43] MRG|Pierre,Vaillant: Bonjour.
[27.08.2019 18:55:58] MRG|Pierre,Vaillant: Are you here for the evacuation?
[27.08.2019 18:56:14] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: Hola. Indeed. We're here to provide overwatch for the evacuation transports.
[27.08.2019 18:56:34] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: Some of your patrols have been firing on them. If you refrain, we've got no issue.
[27.08.2019 18:56:38] MRG|Pierre,Vaillant: Fair enough then. Feel free to continue your operations.
[27.08.2019 18:57:27] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: If you don't mind my asking, what's your take on all this?
[27.08.2019 18:57:37] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: I know not everyone under your banner has been sanguine about it.
[27.08.2019 18:58:16] MRG|Pierre,Vaillant: I am still a Royalist. Royalist on a political matter. However, this genocide must be stopped. It wouldn't have even existed
[27.08.2019 18:58:18] MRG|Pierre,Vaillant: either.
[27.08.2019 18:58:37] MRG|Pierre,Vaillant: I granted the evacuation of the civilians.
[27.08.2019 18:58:47] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: That's something, anyway.
[27.08.2019 18:58:56] MRG|Pierre,Vaillant: My mission now is to keep an eye on them and meanwhile, save my own men.
[27.08.2019 18:59:11] MRG|Pierre,Vaillant: And get out from here.
[27.08.2019 18:59:50] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: I can understand inflicting horrors out of necessity. War is, by definition, barbarous. This seems unnecessary, though.
[27.08.2019 19:00:22] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: Even if the war is almost over, as seems to be the case, Bretonia will not likely forgive this any time soon.
[27.08.2019 19:00:23] MRG|Pierre,Vaillant: There is still a limit. Here we have broken something. There is no return way.
[27.08.2019 19:00:46] MRG|Pierre,Vaillant: They are not going to. Never. How even could they tolerate this?
[27.08.2019 19:01:23] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: I know I couldn't, if Malta were the victim. I'm glad not everyone on your side has surrendered their humanity.
[27.08.2019 19:01:40] MRG|Pierre,Vaillant: They will obviously try to make an attempt for capturing back Leeds and stop the genocide. I don't mind.
[27.08.2019 19:02:17] MRG|Pierre,Vaillant: But that's entirely foolish. They should reconsider their decision. They don't know what is to come soon.
[27.08.2019 19:03:31] MRG|Pierre,Vaillant: You are from Natio Octavarium isn't it?
[27.08.2019 19:03:46] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: I am. I suppose I should introduce myself.
[27.08.2019 19:04:03] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: I am Taskmaster Eva Flores, overall commander of the Fourth Octavarium Fleet.
[27.08.2019 19:04:22] OSC.Day_Tripper: kind of a big deal, I take it then?
[27.08.2019 19:04:33] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: You're free to pas, Day Tripper. This Gaul is not interfering with the evacuation.
[27.08.2019 19:04:48] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: The Fourth Fleet is our nations military force, so yes... a big deal.
[27.08.2019 19:05:02] MRG|Pierre,Vaillant: A pleasure to meet you. Commandant Pierre Vaillant.
[27.08.2019 19:05:11] MRG|Pierre,Vaillant: If you excuse me two minutes.
[27.08.2019 19:05:11] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: You don't mind if my gunners return fire, do you? I'll allow you to retrieve the pilots.
[27.08.2019 19:05:15] OSC.Day_Tripper: are you assisting in said evacuation?
[27.08.2019 19:05:36] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: I'm providing security. The Unforgiven lacks accomodation for any significant number of people.
[27.08.2019 19:05:54] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: We're more useful keeping the lanes clear than evacuating people ourselves.
[27.08.2019 19:05:55] OSC.Day_Tripper: fair enough, I wouldn't mind clearer skies, but that's really up to our gallic friend here
[27.08.2019 19:06:15] OSC.Day_Tripper: the shields can take it, and I wouldn't want to overstep his majesty's hospitality
[27.08.2019 19:06:35] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: My apologies, my men wanted to do...a little trip.
[27.08.2019 19:06:36] RNS-Leygues: Radio: Sombre Destin, this is Leygues, Captaine Aliisa Lemaire speaking, orders?
[27.08.2019 19:06:55] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: Stand by Leygues.
[27.08.2019 19:07:05] RNS-Leygues: Radio: Affarmative.
[27.08.2019 19:07:26] RNS-Leygues: Radio: As Marine does, we won't engage evacuation vessels.
[27.08.2019 19:07:38] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: I hope you are not afraid of this, Natio?
[27.08.2019 19:08:07] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: Afraid? No. Respectful of the firepower? Absolutely. Mi madre raised no fools.
[27.08.2019 19:08:59] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: This ship has accomplished many things. Now regarding your nation. What are you planning to do now?
[27.08.2019 19:09:44] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: I'm not really in a position to say. The military answers to the civilian government, and they're not sharing the details with me.
[27.08.2019 19:10:16] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: From what I've gathered, it seems to be wait and see how this shakes out.
[27.08.2019 19:10:20] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: I see. Well it is okay.
[27.08.2019 19:10:37] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: The Consul assigned us to help with the evacuation, but nothing about what comes next.
[27.08.2019 19:11:17] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: How do you think in your opinion the war would end?
[27.08.2019 19:11:40] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: Bonjour Jeuge!
[27.08.2019 19:11:59] MRG|Jeuge.Duval: Bonjour Vaillant
[27.08.2019 19:12:00] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: All signs are pointing to an allied victory, though it's not quite over yet.
[27.08.2019 19:12:26] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: I think your side made a blunder with the bombardment. Were I planning the withdrawl, this isn't how I'd have done it.
[27.08.2019 19:13:01] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: I would've pulled back to Leeds, set up a full defensive position, then sent in the diplomats to try and end the war on favorable terms.
[27.08.2019 19:13:12] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: The Allied -Liberty and Bretonia- are exhausted. They will obviously try to enter in the system...which is suicide.
[27.08.2019 19:13:33] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: That may be, but with the reports I hear coming out of Gallia, are you really any better off?
[27.08.2019 19:13:59] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: I share your points. Sadly some...indesirable in the High Command chose for the suicide way...
[27.08.2019 19:14:14] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: Gallia is lost.
[27.08.2019 19:14:24] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: You may, of course, recover your pilots. I'm obliged to return fire, but I won't take prisoners if you can take them home.
[27.08.2019 19:14:37] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: The Conseil will take the power soon.
[27.08.2019 19:15:17] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: All the more reason to have settled this with as much of your fleet intact as you could.
[27.08.2019 19:15:24] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: Now, the only matter is to save my men.
[27.08.2019 19:16:01] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: Bretonia would only accept a capitulation without condition. Just what happened to Leeds.
[27.08.2019 19:16:36] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: That's a matter for the diplomats, but I suspect if you were negotiating behind a hardened defense, they may have been willing
[27.08.2019 19:16:39] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: to negotiate.
[27.08.2019 19:17:13] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: *Laughs* I think they are going for negociations once they'll invade Leeds.
[27.08.2019 19:17:37] RNS-Leygues: Radio: Once they'll invade Leeds, probably the planet will be dead.
[27.08.2019 19:17:58] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: Allied are dead.
[27.08.2019 19:18:16] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: There is only us, and the civilians on this planet now.
[27.08.2019 19:18:16] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: Again, if one of your people wants to move in and recover these ejected pilots, you may.
[27.08.2019 19:18:44] RNS-Leygues: Radio: I will proceed with this.
[27.08.2019 19:18:45] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: Leygues please, bring back our pilots.
[27.08.2019 19:19:15] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: War in Gallia is lost. Lost from the start
[27.08.2019 19:20:00] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: Our High Command is hidding somewhere in Gallia and order us to "regroup". They leave us.
[27.08.2019 19:20:21] RNS-Leygues: Radio: Eleven pilots secured, we will transfer them to you, Sombre Destin command, over.
[27.08.2019 19:20:24] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: The Amiral of the Marine disappeared.
[27.08.2019 19:20:44] RNS-Leygues: Radio: I hope these pilots will get new Lynx type crafts.
[27.08.2019 19:21:14] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: For sure.
[27.08.2019 19:21:26] RNS-Leygues: Radio: Wait, she really diseppeared?
[27.08.2019 19:21:42] RNS-Leygues: Radio: So.. the rumors are true.
[27.08.2019 19:21:45] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: Since the battle of New London.
[27.08.2019 19:21:49] RNS-Leygues: Radio: Damn.
[27.08.2019 19:22:07] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: She vanished...prefered to hide herself.
[27.08.2019 19:22:23] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: Because she can't live with what she did.
[27.08.2019 19:23:02] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: I couldn't imagine abandoning anyone under my command.
[27.08.2019 19:23:09] RNS-Leygues: Radio: Still remembering great times when I was fighting alongside of Battleship Ressentiment, and Battlegroup in Magellan.
[27.08.2019 19:23:13] MRG|Jeuge.Duval: Pathetic
[27.08.2019 19:23:38] RNS-Leygues: Radio: Hm?
[27.08.2019 19:24:04] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: Ressentiment and the Amiral de Justeton are dead.
[27.08.2019 19:24:23] RNS-Leygues: Radio: Now, we are in retreat.
[27.08.2019 19:24:31] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: But this ship appeared.
[27.08.2019 19:24:54] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: And finished what Justeton started.
[27.08.2019 19:25:20] RNS-Leygues: Radio: Was it destroyed?
[27.08.2019 19:25:38] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: Certainly. Justeton is dead.

[27.08.2019 19:28:47] NO-OCS-Unforgiven: By the way, I appreciate the assist against your patrol.
[27.08.2019 19:29:05] MRG|RNS-Sombre.Destin: Vaillant: Now go say that to the Allied.
[27.08.2019 19:29:08] RNS-Leygues: Radio: Puppets of Chanteloup won't be tolarated.

We at Petrucci Memorial Agricorps have found that this year's cycles of growth and harvest has far exceeded what any of our people expected. New growth stimulation in use in our fields has resulted in our quarterly yield being enough to keep our current internal cardamine stocks high for at least the next eighteen months, and the damned grass keeps growing as if to reach the sky and touch the face of God. At this rate, we're going to need to build another processing facility and at least one if not two new storage warehouses, and we're running out of infertile land to develop on the Estate. The new freighter landing pads are helping us get the product off the planet and into our medical facilities, but by the time we can get a batch offworld, it feels like we need to call another freighter down.
When I took stewardship of the Petrucci Estate last year, we had enough of a harvest each quarter to supply the Natio's medical cardamine needs for a quarter, plus enough to build up a nice buffer in case of a bad season. Two seasons later, the plantation's crops were blooming through the winter season, and even as a rare light snow fell on the ground, the blades of newborn grass poked through, ever adamant to climb through and consume the sun's nourishment. And it would not rest, nor has it rested since.
I knew that the cardamine plant was one that was resilient and fast-growing, but the Petrucci Estate is now producing a steady supply of high-quality inhalant, ready to consume, to the tune of seventy-five thousand users' worth. Further processed for your average user, we can easily supply the "good stuff" to our own ten thousand or so plus at least another hundred thousand's supply of standard inhalant. Of course, we don't have a hundred thousand users to sell to, so we're stockpiling for the death of a farm that absolutely and vehemently refuses to die.
In short, señors and señoras, we have a lot of drugs down here and nowhere near enough addicts in the Natio to consume them all. What do you want us to do with all this dust?
Claudio Villanova-Park Petrucci Memorial Agricorps
No doubt, you've got my file open right now, so you already know most of this, but I think a little background is still in order. Before joining the Fourth Fleet, I served in the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army. During the Volkhan's failed campaign against the Katzist counter-revolutionaries, I volunteered to receive a prototype second generation nerve staple. After the traitors overthrew the Volkhan, my staple was deactivated along with everyone else's. I had thought that to be the end of it.
Last year, shortly after being released from the gulag and returned to service in the Revolutionary Army, my staple spontaneously reactivated itself. I wasn't able to find help in the Coalition, so I deserted from the Revolutionary Army and eventually found my way here. The Natio's doctors have been able to mitigate the worst effects of the staple but still haven't figured out what makes it tick or how to deactivate it permanently without killing me.
I had been working with Doc Holliday on a permanent solution, but that was interrupted by the Bretonian conquest of Gran Canaria and the Doctor's involvement before and after, and ultimately no there was no change in treatment. As expected, the implant is starting to adapt to treatment, and before long it'll be back to full function.
With Doctor Holliday now in Bretonian custody, and nobody else able to devise a more effective treatment, I'm starting to get a little desperate. I've exhausted every option available to me, which brings me to you. Of all the organizations in the Natio, yours is the most likely to have the contacts or access to novel technologies that I need.
Is there anything you can do to help?

Well. This is awkward.
You see, Holiday was our primary contact for medical issues as well.
I'm going to check with a few of my contacts and see if I can find anyone. In the meanwhile, Med Force Enterprises wasn't just one man, they may have someone else that can help you.
