I love that thing. Even if it doesn't get in as a gunship, the idea of making it a Bretonian yacht still works. I'm sure His Majesty could use something to cruise around in style in. Although I'm more in favor of it being a Gunship, to be honest.
Ya'know, with the Gaians living so close to where Gallia is going to be, I expect the faction as a whole would be forced to adapt: more traffic, more work, more members, more money, more ships.
I seriously think the ship should be submitted:cool:
P.S.-

I could always throw some OSC prisoners into the torso a giant wicker man & set it on fire.
Not sure, but I don't think fairies would do that sorta thing:lol:
Fairies do not mean nice. Unseelie is a group of fairies, and they are decidedly not nice at all. Wicker man seems to fit nicely. Though, not horribly far down the alley...
actually - dopamino has a point. - gaians are descendents of cambridge academics - and you d rather expect them to fly some high tech ship like the hackers gunship - which looks like a civilian shuttle but modern and sleek.
on the other hand - it was a spontanous project - quickly modelled, textured and hardpointed. - i have sent it to igiss and all the rest is upon him. and who knows - maybe he just make a stationary wreck out of the model..... who knows.

I agree wholehartedly, but at the same time, I think that Gaians would strive to at least lean towards organic-style archetecture...so it should be noticable in their shipbuilding as well.
Personally, I like the wings/ears:crazy: but I'd like 'em even more if something about them reminded me of tree roots
Hmm... Perhaps the almost "civilian" design of the hacker gunship is a good base then? The current gaian gunship still has a bit of a shoddy look to it, like an armored beast ready to strike. Why not make it a bit lighter, with some barely noticable armor plates (like the hacker gunship) and make it deviate slightly from the rugged bretonian design in order to show that the gaians truly have seperated themselves from the "wasteful" ways of bretonia...
Supose some sort of solar paneling built into certain parts of the hull would fit well with the gaian way of thinking... Hmm... I may need to scetch this down in order to show what i mean (not like anyone would care).
Or perhaps i'm just over-analyzing things as usual.
since igiss found it hard to fit a hitbox on the fairy wings ( and i think they were not too popular anyway ) - here is the revised model ( along with a higher resolution skin )
the wings are VERY similar to the kusari wings now - but instead of two wings - it has 4 that look a little more torn. the whole skin looks heavier and i tried to make the reactor chamber look a bit jules verne like - classical futuristic.
it is as big as the kusari GB - and has 6 turrets ( 1 backwards only )
one foreward gun ( the one at the nose ) has got a limited firearc of only 20 degrees
the other 4 guns cover the front arc, - but while one pair covers the foreward arc ( 20 degrees upwards ) - they got the whole bottom arc, too - while the other pair only has a 20 degrees bottom arc but the whole top arc.
that way, this gunship has a severe weakness when it comes to turret fight or fights at extreme angles other than directly in the front. - the backwards gun only covers 50 degrees ( instead of the kusari 90 degrees )
suggested hitbox - still the kusari GB , which should fit perfectly well now.
edit: oh, i made the engine effect look like a forked flame - just for fun.... so it looks a bit different to others... =)
