Honestly, teach your players how to do RP , if I had any fun doing Reporters I think your faction would be dead in a day, I'm hoping there'll be an improvement in the RP of your membership. otherwise this could end badly for all of you.
don't take this as a threat, but rather as advice.
this remark applies with all the interaction I've had with the IRMM
I like your mental gymnastics, is the RP or PVP the problem now?

Your mental gymnastics are quite awesome given we're not the main Outcast military. You're literally implying that we should've fought your ships in a 2:1 scenario

I am afraid that StDH cannot teach a beginner something smart and good. If he cannot teach himself something. As always for the same mistakes.
Yes, for all the time I see his activities on the forum and in the game, I have a personal dislike for this person.
This is my subjective opinion, each has its own.
And yes, I'm not trying to offend the person.

We train whoever comes. Doesn't matter if they're MNS, untagged or IRMM. This is a common fact.

Alright, let me break most of this down in the most objective way possible. First of all I believe that it is important to note that during raids, unfair scenarios tend to happend and due to the very nature of those raids (being messy and uncontrollable) it is not always possible to realize what is going on in time and act accordingly.
I've been on the IRMM fighter for this encounter so I do believe I know what I am talking about.
(12-22-2019, 01:12 AM)Decktare Wrote: Well, what can I say about this group. All the battles that are with this group, they always outnumbered. One word, Gank. RP, and all the technology is taken from the ceiling. As a man of science, I can say that your engines and generators will not work.
At the same time, Outcasts never differed in technology, but here you have surpassed even the states in technology. Where did the lagging behind in development have such high technology? You do not have so many resources, and the minds to even come up with this, not what to produce.
And again, back to the first.
If you guys do not change your attitude to the battles and do not stop constantly trying to outstrip and poison not funny jokes about others in the RP, then I will try to have nothing to do with you at all. At least our whole group is not happy with your ganks.
And so yes, good luck not to become OF.
In my opinion, you are not worth it because of your RP and behavior.
I wish you health and many years to come.
Thank you for your attention, if you pay it at all.
Technological advancement in Discovery has always been fishy. Of course you cannot expect everyone to be a physicist or chemist with a diploma and I believe that this heavily shows in most, if not all roleplay centered around SRP's, weapons, engines, you name it. For some people this may come off as cringy and not without reason. Given, however, that this is the standard that has been seemingly set years ago, I think it is pretty unfair to call out a certain faction for it, suprisingly right after you lost a fight against them and (later) admit that you dislike the leader in particular.
The fighting part however, I do not fully understand. If what you said was the truth and if your group was unhappy about an "unfair" (I'll get to this in a second) fight, then why have you done the same exactly 20 seconds before, except you used what to me looked like 1 BC, 1 Cruiser, 1 GB and 2 Bombers on a single Carrier. There is a very small percentage of players on the server that do not mind being ganked, and if you are not one of them then treat others accordingly otherwise it is just simply hypocritical of you to call out others for it.

We didn't have a BS, we had a BC
OC BC has been killed so fast, because we have seen, that you are getting numbers. We tried to kill him and then regroup, but sadly were interrupted by this silently engaging LSF carrier.
EDIT: Tho, again, it might be the matter of not only one encounter, this one might be the "final nail".
This also serves as a good example of what I have mentioned a few lines above. As it seems you have ganked and killed one of the people that wanted to participate in what could have been a very fun fight, but afterward have the audacity to complain about being treated the same. Even if this was not the case, I do not believe that the fight started out (THIS IS IMPORTANT!) unfair. We arrived with one Sarissa, one SRP (I honestly don't know if its a Cruiser or a Battlecruiser or a Hybrid of sorts), as well as what I believe was a cruiser and of course a fighter. You, on the other hand, had a Battlecruiser, a Gunboat, a Cruiser and two bombers present. I do not think that this is completly balanced but in my eyes this is not something to complain about either. Had you played together properly, then you would have won. As Sava mentioned, IRMM + friends contains newer players and people that are new(-ish) to Fleet Combat and that could have been exploited. For the initial part of the fight, and this is my personal opinion, you have only yourselves to blame.
However, what happened afterward with the Battlecruiser and Battleship in Aquintaine, I do not agree with. Yet, given that we basically won the fight, I think the Outcast Capital ships simply sped up what was inevitable either way.
I do sincerely apologize to the pilot of the Battleship as well as the BC still, as I think everyone deserves their portion of fun and fairplay.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. There were no people present to be hired, it was just Outcasts and Enclave.

I think you know very well that this is not constructive criticism so I'm curious why you wasted time on posting it in the first place.
Do I feel sorry for this unlucky soul behind of the first OC BC? Yes, I do. But here goes another question: Would he take part in interesting battle or rather interesting gank? Was there chances that we would get the same situation but with additional BC on OC side? As I've said before, I see, that Deck's complaints are not coming from the only one encounter - probably something made Enclave playerbase believe, that there is no fair play from OC side and something forced them to kill this battlecruiser as fast as possible. Moreover, even if he wouldn't die, it's still would be a large disadvantage for our side, resulting in two scenarios:
1) The guy stands back and does nothing and leaves disappointed without single blue message.
2) He will ganks us with the rest of teamTM

I guess, that you forgot to add also a battlecruiser, named MNS-Cardamine.Knight. Now, two battlecruisers (let's assume that this SRP is one), cruiser and a bs isn't even more or less close to fair terms, comparing to cruiser, battlecruiser, gunboat and a couple of bombers. Even with one battlecruiser, it would be utterly gank-ish. And I don't know where this belief that we are god-like pvp players comes from. It was the first time when I flew a gallic dessie, which is considered as a bad one even by good players, and I'm totally not a good cap player myself. I doubt, that Jeuge is a killing machine as well. And finally take into consideration fact, that we lost some regens to this OC BC and silently engaging LSF carrier (I lost almost all of them for example).
So yeah, I will break it down: It was a gank and this feedback message doesn't come from single encounter, as I believe.
In stylish pink color for you.
But! At the same time I realize, that ganks are the part of Discovery, they happened and they will also happen and in my first message I've stated that I can't blame you on what's doing the most of community and in my humble opinion ganks shouldn't influence the decision on officialdom, even someone will disagree, but it will result in something much worse - people won't just care enough to waste their time and spoil satisfaction from gameplay on you. You can consider yourself a winner, you can consider your opponents as the bunch of pussies, but it won't change the fact, that people won't play with you again and then you will have nothing, but flying in empty space and thinking about how good you are.
I don't ming being ganked, it's the natural process. At the end I've survived the siege of Vierlande as MFK and a ton of RHA raids during my RM days, before I left the faction. Is RHA a bad faction? No. Is RM a bad faction? Well, they did some stuff which I'm not into and which is considered to be low by all standards, but them avoiding interaction is just a response. Though personally I always prefer to go and get ganked, rather than just dock somewhere, but it's just me.
At the end - kudos for duel and letting me go, if you want to have fun, then you probably should think on giving opportunity to have fun to others as well. I can't really blame you on what has happened, I just personally don't like it and being honest nobody does.

I do not believe you guys are god-tier pvpers, otherwise I would not have mentioned that you could have won.
The BC you speak of was not there when the fight started. I wish I recorded the fight but at first, there was one lone cruiser/BC at 6e that spottet you and we ended up grouping around him with the Battleship and SRP and me arriving afterward. Gotta be honest, I have not looked at what we had afterward (because I left as soon as the Valor was engaged due to it being around 1:30am for me already and I was really tired lol) and I didn't notice another cap joining us.
If I may recommend something then it would be that both parties speak to each other before they fight next time to see what each other has in terms of combat strength and skill so future situations similar to this can be avoided.
Sadly I'm not in a position to talk about other encounters as I have not been part of them, but in behalf of IRMM and the MNS- Indies present I would like to apologize to everyone that participated in the fight yesterday, because it was not our intent to gank or make sure you have no fun by other means.
So, besides you shooting light fighters in battleships, which is allready quality "research" in my books, you also ally yourself with the GMS.
I don't really follow your faction concept, so allow the question: Are you following Outcast lore or is this something else, like another Maltese splinter group?

1) IMG is IRMM's enemy (Since fort Siloso)
2) GMS stood there peacefully
3) IMG threw few insults and scattered away
4) Uncharted II is full of Nacrahtite (scientific ore)
5) GMS has died too and the Nacrahtite was beamed.
Please eat a sandwich.
