In the future, when the outcomes are fixed, can those fixed outcomes be expanded upon? I just feel like it's a bit hard for the greater community to be invested when not only can they not significantly affect the outcome of this storyline, but it's just not really clear where things are even going.

The two system outcomes listed in the first post weren't originally planned elements of the update. They were included based on the outcome of the combat and trade event. In future, I'm hoping there'll be more transparency about the contents of future story beats however, so changes like that will feel more impactful. I believe the story team is currently discussing how exactly they want to approach that issue.
