The Lane Hackers cannot give out or expand the existing code. It was made by someone who has long since left Discovery and left it up as a courtesy. It's only being fed new server/game data to keep it up to date.
Still those files are available of course so a new tool could be written I guess.

As long as there's a single source of truth for these files, so that we won't have to maintain two parallel versions, that'd be great.
@Error what do you say, can it be a feature in the Nav Map? I'd rather merge it with existing tools than make a new one.
Sorry for the lack of responses here, just been very exhausted over the last few weeks and prioritized finally getting the map update out over catching up with the forums. Hoping to get better soon so the map can keep up at least a bit more closely with mod updates.
Extra thanks for the pokes in here, @Toaster - I do have email and PM notifications on for this thread, so those help quite a bit.
@MechaCheff This is unfortunately very out of scope for the navmap, and would require significant amounts of work to more or less reimplement and integrate the functionality of the Mactan Network website on top of the current map somehow.
It would likely be less work and cleaner to start from scratch with a new dedicated tool at that point, which is outside what I can handle in my current state. While I've been interested in doing that for a good while, I very much do not want to promise anything considering how slow even fairly simple tasks like updating the map itself for new versions has been recently.

To add to that, so is Dresden, which rule-wise is an Omega system now.
Also, shouldn't Tau-61 be green, as it's fully Vagrant controlled?

Tau-61 is considered as a Tau system server rule-wise. Maybe all the borderworlds as taus and omegas (along with uniquely named systems like Roussillon) should be colored gray as borderworlds so it will not get confusing for players.
Also, Ontario is no longer part of the Liberty space and it is now an independent world.
