Op. SCALLYWAG Cambridge Small-Scale Combat Event - Prisoner Transfer
Overview
Over recent years, Corsair raids on Bretonian core territory have skyrocketed. The Cambridge Line has proved largely ineffectual at stemming this tide, prompting an ever escalating requirement for counter-piracy patrols throughout Cambridge, New London and Omega-3. Forces of the Civil Defence Initiative are usually thrown at these tasks as a largely disposable pool of manpower. Recent patrols have resulted in the capture of many Corsairs, although at a terrible cost in lives and materiel.
Owing to overcrowding aboard Newgate Prison, many of these pilots are being held in a temporary brig aboard Coleraine Distribution Center in New London. Transfer orders have now been received for these criminals to be transferred to the newly opened BPA Parkhurst in Omega-3. A CDI Armored Transport detail has been requisitioned carry out the mission, expecting a relatively quiet run. Little do they know that one of the captives aboard is a junior but influential raider commander of the notorious Deterrence Corsair gang.
Already Corsair scouts prowl the Keswick and Peterborough Fields, waiting for signs of the transport. They will go to great lengths to get their man back.
Objectives
Bretonians win if the Corsair Pilots are sold on BPA Parkhurst.
Corsairs win if they escape to Omega-5 in possession of the Corsair Pilots.
If both sides finish with some Corsair Pilots, it is a draw.
Rules
Only Fighters, Bombers and Freighters are allowed in this event.
Allowed IDs: Bretonia Police Authority and Corsairs.
The Corsair Pilots will be held aboard the Pelican Armored Transport CDI)HMC-Wollaton.
The Police escorts must stay within range of the CDI)HMC-Wollaton.
The CDI)HMC-Wollaton will fight to the death while it's escorts are alive. If the escorts are all destroyed, it will surrender upon reaching low HP and give up the Corsair pilots.
Only registered ships may take place in the event.
No combat-docking.
No respawning.
No sun-diving or planet diving.
No restocking.

Police slots are preferentially reserved for CDI) members. Corsair slots are preferentially reserved for DTR, TBH and Sails members.
