I grew up around the docks and warehouses, where the important thing was getting cargo moving, not always keeping the paperwork spotless. Learned early that you need to be sharp, flexible, and ready to solve problems without waiting for permission.
I spent the last few years freelancing — mostly mining escorts, convoy security, and a few odd jobs where it was better not to ask too many questions. Never crossed the line into anything serious, but I know how to handle myself when things get messy.
Right now, I’m living on Planet Erie in the Pennsylvania System. It’s rougher than Denver, but it's honest work and good people. I’m looking to leave the freelance life behind and put down roots with a company that actually builds something real. DSE feels like the right kind of place for that.

As you've probably heard, we like folks who've been around the block for a bit. But I should remind you that if you were to accept our offer, you'd need to pay attention to your image and how it reflects on this here company. While appreciate your attitude towards problems, a lot of folks prefer things by the book, since that keeps us and the shareholders safe in their investments. All that to say that you best pay close attention to your orientation manuals, and start gettin' used to this way of don' it out there.
