Dude here's what you should do: Spend a few days stopping and looking at as much of the house bases as you can. This way when you come to a field all you have to do is get a drop and look at the trade route for it, better to do it this way then depend on others telling where the good spots are, those who know one (like myself) tend to keep their mouth shut for as long as possible to reap the benefits...do this OR keep asking others and hoping, your choice really...

The entire point of the mining mod was to encourage teamwork. Take your lone wolf attitude to Single Player and join us here in multiplayer with a teamplay attitude.

As much fun as mining, trading, and doing things in a group is. For some people it is simply hard to always find a group when you can manage to get online. So take your poor attitude elsewhere. If he wants to play solo, he can. Just means he is an easy target for a smart pirate.

Corsair has a point. The idea of the mining mod was to work with at least one other miner, and one hauler. If you don't use this system, you'll end up with sub-trading profits. If you work on your own, you end up with a really low $/sec.

Telling people to work in groups is not a bad attitude. The bad attitude is the lone wolf attitude that's threatening to get the mining system nerfed.

I don't want to ninja anyone's thread, but there's a tiny field around Salina planet in Coronado.The map shows it to be mineable, yet it doesn't drop anything.It's proximity to Pecos base and the general awesomeness of the system make me regret that.
Could we add something to mine there ?

I would mine in a group if there was more than one miner (me) online in system. Or join a corp if they didn't have just one member online during my time.
