Shrugs as he listens to Jackson try and work his charms on yet another woman, Ace's goes back to idly twisting and turning his cube, and just for fun he sometimes lines up a sequence of colors, hoping Jackson is watching him.
The woman spoke. Her voice was strange, high and lilting, though sometimes it seemed to seperate into five or more different voices, like the distortion of a machine.
:Who, me? Nobody of relevance. I just seem to pop up wherever this one does,: She said, tilting her head towards Razor. :Although how or why our paths keep crossing is beyond me:
She slid her cube towards her.
:As for this cube, it is my companion, and basically my only friend. All the others keep dying on me, it gets annoying eventually:
She swept her hand across the top of the cube, and a blue beam swept out across the other people at the table, before the cube, which was seemingly inanimate a moment ago, pulsed light blue before returning to normal.
:Oh!: she said, letting out a small giggle. :It likes you:
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
She just smiled.
:Thats alright,: She said, :I just wanted to see how easily i could solve it. I estimate that the minimum amount of moves is...nineteen:
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
He continues to smile at her as he leans back, in his chair and begins to idly twist and turn the cube again.
Now you see, I'm not "trying" to solve it...
Chuckles
If I did, that'd ruin my little surprise in here.
Takes the Rubix Cube, and holds it up momentarily, before going back to twisting and turning it, all the while still looking at her, with the charming smile.
Razor comes back from the bar and says "Miss you are in my seat." Jackson replies "Let the lady sit there, pull up another chair Razor." - "Fine." He pulls up a chair and asks Jackson "Can i have another cigar?" and then asks Ace "So tell me a little about yourself."
