Hell no. If you want endless battles go to conn. Having people re-engage all the time just because it's a warzone is a terrible idea. The only way to 'win' would be if the other one gets bored. It also provides no reasoning for RP. Seeing Battleships get destroyed and engage immediatly afterwards again... That's not something that's supposed to be in an RP system. Those system would be lost to anybody who'd want to do RP aswell as to any others who don't have the IDs in question.
Endless cluster battles are something that belongs to conn and nowhere else.

Having IRP group fights with lots of ships in them is a totally different thing than the jousting with "lol check out my jousting setup" are totally different things.

Having warzones that have less war in them than New York is worse. Forcing people who like PvP into seeking it in New York pirating or in connecticut doing oorp stuff on a RP server is also worse. People who dont like PvP can avoid those war zones as they should. It will even drag the people who like PvP out of the other systems and into the warzones.

Nope, the only way to "win" will be to have fun doing it. You're not having fun? Go to the other systems where there is plenty of other stuff to do.

5 minutes later isnt more unrealistic than 4 hours later.

Plenty of other systems to choose from. There will be more variety in the type of thing going on overall if you get warzones.

It's only endless for as long as the people in the clusterbattle are still having fun doing. When its no fun, you can just do what ever you like doing more. Most importantly, it happens in certain systems and not in all systems. If you don't like it its very easy to avoid. People who fly around all systems looking for PvP are harder to avoid.

No.
We are talking about 2 or 4 sytems, out of over a hundred. These systems will not only give people who like this kind of play a lot of fun, but also pull those casual player capitol ships that are looking for things to shoot out of all the other systems.

Doesn't matter how many systems there are, a lack of reengagement rules has not once ever turned out well. That's why it exists in the first place. These types of ideas need to be confined to areas outside the ordinary roleplay environment. That means Conn, event servers, or pre-planned events in specific areas at specific times.

If you leave out all the events on all the event servers, which also took place mainly in 1 to 3 systems.

They are confined to areas. Can you give any justification at all for the rest of what you said?

Do it in a guard system then. Bering does not belong to official factions.

This suggestion wasn't merely for official faction use and guard systems are going the way of dinosaurs.
The idea itself has pros and cons. At first I was all lolno, but the longer I thought about it the more I thought that perhaps it might be a decent idea. Role play supports it. It would give those battlefield systems the actual thing they need, danger.
