(If you find any mistake in my English, please let me know via a PM)
(Really, I speak terrible English, so please, tell me if I make mistakes. I'd like to improve it a bit )
These are just the games that I loved as a kid (or as a much younger kid than I am now). I used to play Task Force when I was only 5 years old! Newer games usually just seem to be recycled crap. I guess that's why I like Freelancer so much-- there's hardly any other games out there that compare.
EDIT: I forgot about Sid Meier's Pirates which is pretty rad too. YARRR!
My first addiction...(this would be about 13 years ago)
Escape Velocity - only for mac... basically 2D birds eye veiw freelancer with better missions. you could join a race/faction and do missions for them and gain ranks etc.
when you got a better ship you could attempt to demand tribute from planets or stations... fight off many waves of enemy fighters then they would give you money every day....
aaah...
the only reason i got into FL is because it reminded me of that xD
Earthsiege 2
Starcraft
Red Alert 2 (and whatver Westwood made of this type, Generals suck)
Panzer general 2 (+new campaigns I found here and there...)
Imperialism 2
FL (if it was only SP, it wouldn't be on the list)
Red baron (yes the first)
1. Thief (all parts, but first one especially)
2. GTA - Vice City
3. Freelancer - (this game caries the title of game i played for longest time..and timer still is ticking)
4. Cossacks - European wars - i liked chasing all those little people on the map
Ah, back to the years when I was a little child...
I loved playing Super Mario World and it's "sequel" Yoshi's Island. Those are my all-time favourite, but generally most of my favourite games are Jump'n'Run.
Basically, I love all Jump'n'Run games, but some of them are easy, have horrible gameplay or are too short that I don't bother playing.
Well my favorites arent that strange i guess... ive got some games in original copies, and those are my best games ever:
1. Half-life (CS especially from 0.3 alpha to 1.5)
2. GTA (ALL VERSIONS)
3. Settlers 3 and 4
4. Freelancer (played SP around a total off ... 30/40 times..:Peven got savegames from 2 days after release date ^^)
5. Duke Nukem 3d... was the first game that got me addicted to any pc game... before that i was a Nintendo 8-bit addict:P:P
