I was talking about this situation, actually:

I was going on my pacifist outcast (yeah, trying new RPs 24/7) around Taus, since I had a great RP with some IMG| there, when I saw another sabre being shot by 2 colonials, one of them a gunboat. I standed by, due to my RP, and kept telling them to stop killing each other and be civilizated. The usual pacifist RP, you know.
One of your guys came on another gunboat, and saying "You both die now", he started to shoot at me. That I went mad, true. That I may be under it's effects, perhaps. But it's obvious you need to work at it. In both, lack of RP and ganking. And don't come telling me 2 zooming GBs + 1 LF vs 2 sabres, one of them not even shooting, isn't a gank. Not complaining, just saying that what you give, you'll get.

Don't worry guys, you've plenty of time to work on the points mentioned above, I'm pretty sure, things will go better next time.

The Maquis ID no longer permits gunboats. You should get rid of them quickly; your options include turning them into Council ID'd ships or Brigand ID'd ships. Otherwise, you can swap them for different ships. The Taureau Assault Transport has a CD + CM so you will find it is a decent transport for cargo piracy.

Guys, I know that seeing some GRN| and GRP| online has become a rare sight, and one which must be taken advantage of, but getting grouped up with the CR| to 5v1 and then 6v2 a Lynx and a Serval is not really that cool.

It's not very fun for the GRN| at the moment, when we've got more active people around and can muster fleets of our own, sure, but when there is just a handfull of semi-active players, it really doesn't help, and it sure as hell doesn't make you look good.

Instead, when you see the CR, or groups like them, preparing to attack GRN people in force, just stay on the sidelines until you're really needed, don't just jump in the second you see a red contact on your scanners. Showing restraint makes you look a great deal better than desperately chasing every blue message you can find.

In fact, it's these kind of daily occurrances that led to several of the activity dips (latest and further in the past) in the GRN and GRP factions.

You'll have more opponents if you don't gank them everytime they log on.

As for CoM - we havent had much interaction with you guys, but were hoping to change that. Expect some comm board RP from us soon, and we'll go from there.

About our attacks on civilians. I personally never gave permissions to attack them, possibly it is other pilots who were giving out for us. I will have it in a look and I will begin complete check. Our code is very strict in this regard.

In fact, I've seen at least one of the CoM pilots acting more like a wannabe Baffie couple of weeks ago, following and harassing my Corsair into attacking him... In Cambridge. I mean, really?

EDIT: Also, supporting the BAF in Leeds against Corsair and Molly incursions.
