So as far as I can see the only people with legitiamte reasons to go after him are the corsairs and the zoners, amiright?
As you can see from both topics- nothing so bad really.
1rst he wanted to decorate and that's why he needed the diamonds. Zoners are not rheinland citizens so they should not give a **** what rheinland thinks about decorating their casino. The bretonians have no particular reason to be there as well.
2nd when the haters started the witch hunt he made joke with them offering 50 mill to shoot each other.
And the corsair reasons are older then the Dakun joining date so they could be ignored.
The zoner ones however show a lot of bias from zoner side and some individuals at the same time. They have issues against the player not against the character and that is the problem as well the reason of this topic.
With 2 words- Witch hunting.

Why the hell would Rheinland not interfere when the Freeport so publicly asked for Blood Diamonds? Diamonds only produced by a group of revolutionary terrorists who are responsible for the slaughter of countless Rheinlander pilots?
Rheinland loses nothing by pressurising Freeport 1.
Freeport 1 loses everything by refusing.
Simply put, it doesn't matter if it was Dakun, he was still acting like an ass.
Asses do not fair well in charge of zoner stations in such parts of space.
A similar 'witch hunt' would have occurred if someone else had done similar actions.
No doubt there is some OOC bias coming into it all, I know I looked at it and just thought Dakun was up to his usual stuff, stuff that doesn't fit well with folks.
Regardless of the OOC stuff though, ANY zoner station in such a precarious position as Freeport 1 would suffer a nasty fate if they went on like that.
' Wrote:While normaly i hate dab with a passion for his constant zoner-bashing after he got an SRP for rping with himself, i agree with him here. Dakun has acted against the interests of the zoners, as well as the nearby individuals, sparking conflict without cause. His actions go against zoner lore, and thus we are responding as we should.
I remember SOME Zoner juggernaut attacking bounty hunter ships, but simply 'cause HE is not someone like Dakun, noone cares. Your argument is invalid, Celestial.
DAKUN FOR ADMIN:ylove:
EDIT: I just found something funny. That Juggernaut apparently renamed to Avalon.
Also, the claims of Bretonia and Rheinland are actually making Omegas live. But I would like to wait for a couple of days. I hope Bretonia will listen to common sense and ignore Zoners that try to refer to the agreements they never followed themselves.
There is more pressure needed on Zoners close to House Space - not for some random reasons, but to shape their roleplay and differentiate them from the ones in the Edge. For the sole reason - you can't play them the same way, once you do that, you become a tad funny with the claims of unexistant authority.
Govedo13, excuse me when I mention that you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Omega-3 is controlled by Bretonia, they have every right and reason to get involved. Rheinland has a right because Dakun appeared to be supporting a terrorist group from Rheinland.
Zoners would give a crap about what Rheinland thinks, seeing as Rheinland is a house and Freeport 1 is but a mere station. One has a large military, the other does not. Zoners are not a military power, never have and never will be. Their might is in their ability to diffuse a situation with words and to a lesser extent the economic power they've built up as a community.
Dakun's character was far to aggressive and made rash actions, he is suffering from those actions now. Its called consequence.
Do people need to back off him as a player? Yes, he didn't do anything that hurt anyone.

I would like to say that accusing him in supporting Hessians for purchasing Blood Diamonds was overreacting. Exagerrating. Way to fight boredom, I hope, not way to get rid of Dakun, otherwise that's just plain stupid for all the participants. At least it feels like that.
