' Wrote:Marburg, this is a game. I don't want to work hours upon tedious hours for the sake of getting a ship. And you're forgetting that to get these ships you need to trade. Trading is yet another tedious, lengthy task that I accept as a necessary evil. But then forcing players to grind for yet MORE hours against mind-numbingly frustrating laggy NPCs is beyond cruel. I have never once said to myself 'Gee, I sure do love shooting at twitchy NPCs for hours upon hours. This is definitely validating my desire to have a gunship. I approve of this.'
And I'm going to point out once again that mission dropping and double bribing took just as long as the actual mission grinding.
You are 100% right- so you find a glitch or two like the guys with cap8 armours, OP route or two make 5-6b in credits and just buy whatever gear you need, the best route now allows to make around 250-300m per hour per person in 2 man group- with 10 hours boring trading if you are time restricted you could have whatever you want.
If you are time restricted you does not need 10 battleships with cau8s anyway, not even to point out that if you practice instead conventional trading time (30-40m/hours) to get the cau8 from cau4 you would be doing better with cau4 anyway- TS gbs are sets of keys- get some GB whore to show you the right keys together with 2-3 movements and in 2 hours training you would be able to trash 90% of the server.
I agree with you about the repping- it is plain stupid and useless point is that creates activity somehow- or someone in the dev team think so at least, no matter how useless activity without interaction with others they want it in.
Same story with the useless 50k drift- more then 15 k is just the same timewaster- it wont change anything if you want to F1 camp you still can do it 3k with 1-2 m per second is good enough for fast F1 and miner hunt so the tool does not take the miner out of CD range anyway . The right way to make it is to put the F1ed ship instantly 20k away from F1ed spot on pure random principle.
People that call the shots think otherwise- so nothing would be changed anyway.
