Not as a whole. A small group opposing the rest of the Outcasts, but not enough to make a difference in the main arena of Maltese 'politics'. Outcasts by lineage, but not directly by association.
Using the Outcast ID lets us keep the identity of being Maltese, while allowing us to use Maltese ships without having to go through the process of having them SRP'd for what is, even after an FR5 and by the faction's lore, an Outcast faction.
Using a different ID has been talked about before, but the faction I feel has too much history being an Outcast faction, flying with an Outcast ID and utilizing the ID lines to the fullest extent for any other ID to be incompatible with the faction's playstyle, even if it is against the lore of the faction the ID mainly represents.
In short, the faction represents its own sect of Outcasts, but not the entirety.
