Good morning
Today I am sharing the sad news of the passing of Sergeant Alice Durmont and Sergeant Terry Pyle. Both were caught in a Corsair ambush while on patrol with their wing in Cambridge. The pair were killed while covering the retreat of a civilian freighter convoy. We will be arranging a collection for their memorial fund to send to next of kin; if you would like to contribute, please contact Dan Rawkins.
Evidence retrieved from survivors of the attack indicates that the perpetrators were likely associated with the Black Sails criminal gang. These murderous pirates have been a thorn in our side for far too long, and I have authorised a pay stipend to any constable who can bring one in, alive or dead. These brigands are extremely dangerous, so exercise caution when attempting an arrest.
Due to the pressing need for additional police sergeants to cover wing responsibilities, Special Constable Timothy Appletree is to receive a probationary rank of Sergeant. Congratulations - please report to Inspector Mayfield for briefing and assignment.
