I'm glad to see you decidin' to put your considerable skills to use under our umbrella, so to speak. We have plenty of work for folks who can operate on their own out there, and there's always plenty of contracts to keep you occupied otherwise.

Now I understand you've gotten used to doin' things your way by now, but that will need to change. I don't doubt you can handle yourself in space, but representin' the company is another thing entirely. You see, you no longer need to answer to just yourself, but to me as your boss, and ultimately to them there shareholders who keep it all runnin'. So any time you make a decision out there, you keep all that in mind, yeah?

In any case, you'll wanna go through the orientation materials which will be tailored to your level of expertise. If you're interested in pursuin' any special assignments, you just let let me know and we'll make it happen.
