Re:
Request for a trade agreement
Senor De la Vega,
We at Borderworld Exports appreciate your response, and understand the reasons behind the delay. These are diffucult times for all of us, as both of our great nations are embroiled in wars for our very survival.
We are pleased that you have agreed to our Trade proposal. We are also pleased that you will honor our request for discretion. We assure you that we will protect your neutrality as well. While we are well aware of the expense of returning to Bretonia empty handed, we do believe that doing business with you is a worthy investment of our time and credits. In the future, I hope that our agreement can encourage diversity in your economy, which can only strengthen both our houses. Finally, we will respect your laws, and give you no reason to regret allowing us into your space.
Within the next several days, I will come to Malta myself to finalize this agreement in person. Before I can make that trip, though, I will need to set my affairs in order here, and make arrangements to cover my short absence.
