thanks for clearing it up - and i do wonder how many BHG| actually know they are now in an official playerfaction. - that might be the first thing to make clear to everyone - cause with a faction comes responsibilities - and every member should be aware of it.
another thing is - how does it exclude those that are not in the faction? - surely, we don t apply the faction RP over canon RP like some other factions do.
on the other hand, i very much appreciate the "open doors" for everyone in the very uncomplicated manner - thats a fresh approach unseen with all the exclusive and ever more exclusive factions around ( and ... it is the only approach that works with the BHG at that point anyway )
lets keep the doors open as they are - but make people aware that there are doors.
Well, to be honest, the open door policy serves one important purpose above all else - to help the many new players to the server who might otherwise have had the misfortune to RP without realising that they were not supposed to do x, y or z and would end up losing everything they had worked so hard for. Everyone makes mistakes. Playing a large, seemingly unrestricted faction like the Corsairs or Guild is many people's first port of call on the server - it can seem to be a relatively consequence-free environment. When people do make mistakes, the ID's rep gets tarnished, as you well know.
I have tried my utmost to make this faction RP and the canon RP the same. Any help would be much appreciated.
Currently I'm working on a proper code for hunters that promotes rp and fairplay.
