If the standard right now is that shared tech only happens between really close allies, the Murmillo is a giant wedding ring. Even when it isn't, the Osiris is an Order staple and the foundation of all their other capships, they gave that out under alliance, not under "Order and Corsairs aren't allied". The Outcast-Core and Order-Corsair alliance has been set in stone since the Core arrived on the scene and decided to be direct rivals with the Order. Outcast and Corsairs fight, the Order and Core fight, and because the Core fights the Corsairs for territory, the sides of the equation balance themselves.
Any side trying to do anything other than that ends with a 3 on 1, plus the nomads which is unreasonable for the non-hispanians to survive.

The Core cannon achieve much on it's own, hence, being the opportunists we are, we try to cash in on the situation.
If this is the story we're going with, then Core and Order will have to rely on the respective Hispanians for just continuing to be allowed to live here, Core from their lacking numbers and manpower, and Order from the long winded problem that is settling in Akabat's "erratic climate that strongly relies on its and Nebet's orbital cycle" after Toledo happened. Core not being able to do any damage on its own and all the alliances that were there being thrown out the window means Core's going to get stomped out by both Hispanians and Order and cease to be. Or it means that Core has some incredible plot armor that allows it to live through this situation, which would mean it can achieve much on its own. Or it means that you're bsing a way to do what you want without consulting what was already there and why it was there. Crazy how that works.
I'll do something about my superiority complex when I cease to be superior.

In my eyes this event is flawed for two reasons,
First reason being because Core are subjected to shoot both sides to stop each other from gaining the upper hand, as stated in the official event post.
Second, making it clear that both sides shouldn’t have been receiving help from non official allies, which means Order shouldn’t be helping Corsairs and Core shouldn’t be helping Outcasts that's the whole reason you have the Zoners pick a side.
However i will add this in, any faction that has the correct ZOI for this event should be able to intervene, for example Order can only show up to shoot both Core and Outcasts as thats Orders current enemies within their ZOI, this said for any other faction with the correct Zone of Influence.
Not specifying just causes chaos and the event goes sideways real fast, this also doesn’t exclude anyone because they have the ability to make an Indie character to join in on the event.
No one is being excluded as far as I am aware. Join with your character as you please. Just accept the consequences for you allegiances and don't be upset that Zoners start shooting at you if you stand in their way (and their temporary allies like OCs, which has been implied by the event: Zoners side with either Corsairs or Outcasts).
What are you on about?
I'm not upset that Zoners are shooting the Order, I'm actually all for it, it's to be expected, and I am NOT about excluding people from the event?!
The annoyance is Core not fighting both sides?!
You might as well remove Core from the Objectives all together, or rewrite them.

Afaik the event design is to break up alliances between Edge Worlds groups and promote them shooting each other. But in terms of roleplay and lore, I can't see why Core and OC wouldn't work together to squeeze Corsairs especially if there is a precedent for their cooperation previously. People say this is the same as Corsairs and Order but I don't think that could be further from the truth. Core is ruthless and will use any means to achieve its objectives. If anything I'm surprised they don't have a bonus on Zoners here.
Back in the day, we used to shoot Outcasts all the time, with the Developers continually suggesting we pursue Outcast-Core diplomacy for the sake of roleplay and adding something to both factions. We simply declined because we wanted PvP activity - and when you looked at it critically, it was mindless! Real ones know. I'd say Core-OC shooting each other was more of a BHG Core thing when the faction was paid to take down high-profile Outcasts by the Houses in Edge Worlds space. When those raids and PvP began to dry up, interactions between the two groups pretty much ceased. So doing diplomacy instead created more interesting roleplay opportunities.
From a Core perspective at least, If Developers really want to worsen Core-Outcast relations best thing is to create a situation where being friends with Outcasts is no longer profitable. They profit more as friends than foes. Otherwise... yeah I don't think this event is that (dare I say bad writing, though I can't really think of a good suggestion myself). The event looks like a really good invitation to hurt the Corsairs where Outcast/Core interests align, which would ultimately be much more beneficial for Core. Maybe in this regard, it was a mistake to add them to the event, but it would be unfair to rip them out now. You can't blame the players for that. Gameplay-wise wise it seems like the numbers fluctuate so that's fine, and if Reavers are involved really it's just a matter of who they get paid more to kill.
I was not part of the Event but, I just LOVE the intense whining from every side. And I noticed how a few "new" players seems to know exactly what alliances there is supposed to be and who is SUPPOSED to attack who.
Who the F cares who won? Is this so important to you that your imaginary faction had to win by a landslide and show who's the biggest group on the server?
It's. A. Game.
The moment you begin throwing accusations and complaining over numbers, is the day you need to take a step back and REALLY think of your priorities in life. FFS. Grow up.
I do sincerely hope MOST of you had fun, cause that is what this is supposed to be about.
Also, good for the event creators for making this happen, it's always good to see activity on the server, no matter what.

I have never so throughly agreed with something that has left me feeling as chastised as this. Kudos to you amigo!
I just like the intensity of all of this ^^ Personally I play as DTR member but either when we win or lose, changes nothing to me, I have had so much fun in this event that it is incredible. It remind me back in the day when I was playing as freelancer mercenary against GRN. I do not understand why everyone is complaining, first battle DTR won the second we lost and lost 3 of 4 cruisers, but who cares, it was incredible to see how community by itself was able to make such a fun and overwhelmingly big event ^^
Thank you guys! I mean it!
Quick edit: You can like me you can hate me I don't actually care, if its crime to be part of the most active and biggest faction on server, Im glad Im guilty of that ^^
you guys could make this event when i can come and not when i can't!!! to some ... i'm not running away, i already participated several events, but RL is way more important, and saying to my girlfriend that i prefer to be alone playing a game online with some strangers than to be with her ... nahhh not going to happen.
for what i could see ... the order crying that the zoners shoot then? well ... why you were there? this is a not their problem, and zoners shot the order because the order shot the zoner side, no matter if they weren't shooting zoner ships, but if i was there and the nearest target was one order vessel i would shoot it. so if order want to be friend with zoners, stay away.
but ... there is a thing that nobody said ... what will happen if sairs lose those cruisers? sairs lose fp9 or ... no matter what happens the future is already decided?
